If you print more paper with nothing to actually back up that paper in value, that means there is more money circulating in the economy. This increased supply of money becomes apparent as things are bought too fast, so the merchants increase prices to match their supplies. This means all prices increase, and despite there being more money available in the economy, the people are effectively the same or poorer because everything costs more. This is called inflation.

They are trying to keep the economic train going. Failing to stimulate at this point would lead to more permanent loss of economy that is very hard to bring back online.

Once people start cutting back hard on spending, etc it leads to further and further economic damage that is hard to recover from. So they have learned over time it's better to just stimulate the economy as much as possible during slowdowns.

The negative thing they want to avoid is zombification or propping up things in the economy which should be cleared away for long-term health.

They don't see this as an issue due to the irregularity of a pandemic shock so printer was set to overdrive. This creates more spending and activity in the market which should result in less unemployment.

The big problem is they have shitty tools to accomplish their goal so it just ends up inflating rich people's assets and has shitty transfer mechanisms to the real economy. But this is probably by design as the rich/powerful make the system and set it up so the only "save the economy" switch happens to go directly to them first.

>So it sounds like that printing money to inject into the market is better than not doing so
Only for equity and real estate holders. Which is a small fraction of the population. The Baby Boomer generation has spent decades running up huge deficits and then printing it away. The only reason inflation isn't runaway in the US is because the money doesn't make it into the economy (yet) and because the dollar is a reserve currency. So we print dollars and we can find foreign markets that want those new dollars.
QE is an attempt to "force inflation" because there is a backwards logic that inflation means you can't possibly be in a recession. Every country and civilization on the planet that has attempted their version of QE - from ancient Rome to modern Japan - gets stuck in a quicksand where further rounds of QE are "needed" to deal with the fallout of the last round.

Their listed commission fees for US markets are: € 0,50 + USD 0,004 per stock. Does this mean they charge you USD 400 if you buy 100 000 stocks, no matter the value of the stock? This seems very disadvantageous to penny stocks.

I think you misunderstood some facts perhaps. The thing Dems keep saying is stocks always crash on a Republican president. Reagan 87, Bush 07, Trump 17 lol its funny how they rhyme.

Thing people don't realize is basically stocks have sucked more than they have been good. Look at the insane Bitcoinlike doldrums in stocks post 1929 by a Republican president, took like a entire generation for people to trust it again. There was also a over 10 year time from Nixon-Carter-Early Reagan where nothing happened.

I would say people are too hard on Coolidge, yes one could say stocks going up so much was very bad but stocks are also a newish American invention. Hard to predict such a crash was humanly possible.

Admittedly, Democrats typically have a healthy and easy to trade market. My prediction for Biden is for a Chinese deal to cause another big rally in FAGMAN and a Obama like steady climb up to 50000 by end of term.

Best strategy for Biden is to buy and hold. If Robots become a real thing, genetics or AI then possibly sell the farm.

there are very good video guides on youtube
just search "how do options calls puts work?"
if you are not willing to take the time to watch guides until you understand them, then you should not be trading options
here's one to start you off
https://youtu.be/MiybniIIvx0
and to put them simply
>A Call is a contract that gives you the ability to buy 100 shares of a stock at pre-designated price on a pre-designated date.
Example: Two weeks ago you bought a $120 Call for AAPL for January 8, 2021. This means that ~6:00pm EST on Friday, January 8, you would have the choice to exercise your Call option, and buy 100 shares of AAPL for $120.
>A Put is a contract that gives you the ability to sell 100 shares of a stock at pre-designated price on a pre-designated date.
Example: Two weeks ago you bought a $120 Put for AAPL for January 8, 2021. This means that ~6:00pm EST on Friday, January 8, you would have the choice to exercise your Put option, and sell 100 shares of AAPL for $120.

>How would you make money from the Call or Put?
If the price of AAPL is above $120.00, you would choose to exercise your Call.
Example:
>Call
The price of AAPL on January 8th is $125 - therefore you could exercise your Call, buy 100 shares of AAPL for $120, and then immediately sell them for $125 ($125 - $120 = $5 times $100 = +$500)
>Put
The price of AAPL on January 8th is $115 - therefore you could exercise your Put, as you 'could' buy 100 shares for $115 on the open market, and then immediately sell them for $120 through your Put contract (you bought 100 shares @$115 each, sold 100 shares for $120 each = +$500)
Most of the time they are just settled on paper / the difference is paid out
You also have to factor in how much buying the contract costs - in the examples above, if you paid $600 for the contract, you would lose money

I think the confusion for most is when it comes to the various strategies and when identifying the best setups to implement said advanced strategies say vs. naked calls and puts. Which can really cripple a new trader.

>>25619354

The best way I put it to newfriends is call is betting the stock is going to go up to or surpass the given strike. From a marked price you can see on your broker of how much money is assigned in premium per share of 100 units per contract.

Put is the exact inverse of that. Pretty simple.

Also bullish on calls of GHIV MARA PLTR WBA

Yes - but you should not rely on fundamental analysis either
you need to do all 3
you should know why the company is good, more importantly why others think the company is good
example: SOLO during the EV craze two months ago - you know that the sentiment is very high, you know that the technicals are breaking out, but you look at the car itself and you say fuck no - all the people who bought SOLO on November 19/20th got burned because they ignored the fundamentals (will SOLO's cap go up in the longrun, maybe)

Six figure hell is the true hell.

Four to five figures is lunch money tier you should have before seriously trading or investing, and then it's a relatively easy 10X with meme stocks to six figure, but there it becomes serious and you cannot afford to lose all your money so you have to be more conservative unless they go full retard like CLF tranny and that seriously slows progress. It's not enough to retire, you're only paper rich, it sucks.
