25603728 No.25603728 [Reply] [Original]

Based on some breadcrumbs from Souvlaki, the guy who implemented wSTA.

>Current targets
- get wSTA on CG
- whitelist wSTA on Balancer (Get rid of warning mostly)
- whitelist wSTA on 1inch and matcha
- update website
- update whitepaper
- fix dashboard (bugs & improvements/new features)

>Priorities
"The most important is getting wSTA whitelisted on Balancer, to do this it must first be listed in CG.
The team is waiting for feedback from CG, but have already started discussions with Balancer. By the time that is done, a large part of the website would have also been updated. This is when marketing could start."

>About wSTA
"I know it negatively impacted other things in the short term and it's not ideal, but the long term prospects of the project are far better than it was in November because of wSTA. wSTA is by far the biggest thing to happen here since the hack, in the long term it's bigger than what Delta was... And it happened fast, really fast. Within two weeks it went from a concept to an audited contract that was deployed. That turnaround time was too quick for everything else, especially that we first had to wait for the audit result before doing anything."

>About marketing:
"I know that discussions are being had with YouTubers for a review of the ecosystem. So it's not like nothing has happened, opening discussions have already begun."

I'd had gone with BAL replacement route first so I kind of understand why it took so long to come up with wSTA.

But I have to admit wSTA is easier to integrate for existing DeFI solutions and CEXes.

Agreed. Never selling though. We just have to remain patient. Remember, Chainlink already existed during the ICO altseason in 2017 but the gains were minimal compared to many other projects. Afterwards it dumpend and then crabbed for three years before it finally could spread its wings. Antshares was trashed on and crabbed for nearly a year before it just exploded. It also started its moon mission later than the other coins during altseason. Ample crabbed for a year before it went from zero to a hundred. Just, remain patient. Selling now is quite literally selling the bottom if you look at ETH value.

All the answers you seek are in the whitepaper - although be aware it is presently being updated to reflect wSTA.

In a nutshell, due to its deflationary nature it turbocharges balancer pools resulting in higher APYs. It's also incredibly decentralised, which means that you cannot be rugged and supply will never increase. Bitcoin of DeFi, baby.

>> No.25609105

>>25609021
There is plenty of liquidity. How are you trying to buy? Set slippage to 1.1% and use whole numbers of STA.

Volatility problem in crypto if you really want to have a "problem solver" but really it's a win-more token where you include it with a basket of other coins and maximize profits. Even with such small liquidity it's outperforming top Balancer liquidity pools. This is because of the deflation creating volume and arbing opportunities. The more volume, the more fees it grants. The dev team has also proven itself to be trustworthy when they refunded the 2M USD after the Balancer hack, while still being anon. Exactly what DeFi stands for. Basically it has everything that would make it a top DeFi blue-chip in the future, it just needs improvement so it's easier to access and after that adoption.
