I want to see what they can find at Morrison work a serious exploration program like at Brandywine. There is serious history of gold there and in the nearby region. They will face issues getting that spot running as a mine though, if you look on google earth where the actual portals and main claim section are, its basically down town Harrison Lakes which I am sure will bring out the NIMBY types.

This is not fud either, just passing out facts here. I think there on to something good over there, but they need to do it right.

Regarding the recent JPM kikery (insane btc price prediction) one should see what the bank is doing and what it is saying since these two are complete opposites. JPM is now shilling crypto and fudding metals while they are actually accumulating physical metal and trying to keep the price down. This is just another tool for them to divert investment from precious metals and also allows them to continuously increase their own inventory of physical metal at discount prices. It doesn't get much more bullish than this.

Agreed. Austerity is going to be the name of the game in the coming years and retail box stores flooded with endless amounts of super cheap goods will not always be a thing. I recommend buying goods that have some purpose, such as tools etc. I think we will be much more prone to doing repairs ourselves than affording others to do things for us.
Silly purchases, such as alcohol, hobbies etc can wait. A major transfer of wealth is going to happen and you will be kicking yourself for every misallocated dollar you let slip through your fingers. You'll be counting up how many silver dimes you could have bought instead of that Chipotle Burrito and doing to BTC tier math on just how much it cost you after the catalyst.

Usually when liquidity is low, that's the best time to buy. Given my net worth, 100oz is the minimum I should buy since I need enough to make up a percentage of my portfolio. The big boys buy 400oz investment grade gold/silver in vaults.

My time horizon for selling this stuff is in 30 years (I am treating this as a 30-year savings account), so I have a while until I'll sell it.

I still need more PMs though, especially platinum which is incredibly mispriced. Expect to see your catalytic converter stolen soon as theives will start going after that stuff. I would recommend disposing your fiat for something that protects the catalytic converter under your car.

She has the quotation from Timothy wrong. It's actually "Love of money is the root of all kinds of evil." A better translation of the Greek word is avarice, which means extreme greed. You aren't manifesting extreme greed. Quote to her some of the Proverbs, like 14:23, "In all labor there is profit, but mere talk leads only to poverty." Poverty is portrayed there as undesirable. Also see Haggai 2:8, "The silver is mine, and the gold is mine, saith the Lord of hosts." In other words, gold and silver are God's money.

Money is a tool, don't love your money and don't let your money rule over you, rule over it and use it to advance God's Kingdom on earth.

Right now trading your time for fiat is a very bad idea. Wages are too low, prices are increasing and we're entering a depression. Dollars are incredibly overvalued right now, much like the Pound Sterling was before between the Great Depression and WW2. Wageslaves got screwed over in this environment. Having land to grow food on is a good investment in this situation. If you don't need money to survive, you're in a good position.

Live off of fumes until wages inevitably reprice and interest rates start to rise. 10 year-2-year spreads may increase, and if the entire yield curve begins to increase, and the Fed engages in YCC, expect PMs to appreciate to new highs because with YCC you can have 20%-30% inflation.

Just have a portion of your net worth in PMs, because the 10-year bond - Gold price may decouple in this secular downturn when oil decouples from the dollar (which the US is still fighting to keep right now).

The EU is turning their back on us with Nordstream 2, which revalues Euros. The same goes for oil sold in Rubles to China. These two currencies may sharply appreciate to the dollar as debts in those currencies can now increase outside the borders of these entities.

The spike in M1 money supply is a bank run (the rich cashing out to checking accounts to splurge on investment-assets), it is not "money printing"

>> No.25572192

This might also sound stupid, but bonds may outperform stocks in this era, despite yielding 0%. PMs still beat bonds in this situation.

It can be demonstrably proven as well. φιλαργυρία is the word in Greek, which means avarice. If it was simply "money" it would be αργυρος. Argyros is the ancient Greek word for both silver and money.

I’m regards to what coins it’ll hold, don’t worry about it too much. What matters is the size of the coin. For example, I tested mine out and found it fits 1/4 Maples, 1/4 AGE, and a couple other coins all perfectly. If their measurements match up, it’ll fit fine

Gold, silver, crypto are largely memes. When shit hits the fan you need bullets, food, antibiotics, clean water, tradable small items like cheap lighters, one or more practical skills, and most importantly family and/or community. Read about Selco, he was in an actual SHTF situation for a year during the Bosnian war. Everything collapsed instantly, no police, hospitals, nothing. Roaming gangs of people looking for food and firewood. Back to the stone age. Anyways near the end of hisQ&A (written <2014) someone asks about patterns leading up to SHTF:
-Things that make differences between people are more and more problematic (race, religion, political opinion).
-Polarization is getting obviously stronger.
-People want to come to your country, but they do not want to “assimilate” or contribute to the greater good. They want to preserve their way of life which is often absolutely contradictory to the way that your country (society) works.
-The political way of solving those problems often fails, because, in essence, those problems are hard to solve in a democratic way (in the spirit of democracy).
-Your freedoms are “shrinking” as a result of that.
-Calls for “radical solutions“ for the problems are stronger and stronger.
-The media is absolutely working a dirty job, and it is hard to find out what is the truth anymore.
-Suddenly people and events from history are “brought back” so people can judge and argue about it, to write history again, to build myths sometimes.

Yes, the Latin and Greek words are cognate, from Indo-European. >Gold, silver, crypto are largely memes.

Crypto is a scam. Gold and silver have preserved wealth in every economic collapse in history. If you held gold during the Great Depression, you made 10x (because everything else crashed by 90%). If you held Homestake Mining, you made 60x (because Homestake went up 6x at the same time). Small quantities of gold were buying mansions during the Weimar hyperinflation.

>When shit hits the fan you need bullets, food, antibiotics, clean water, tradable small items like cheap lighters, one or more practical skills, and most importantly family and/or community.

This idea is based upon the fud that, without fiat, the world would collapse into the Capital Wasteland and look like a Fallout game. The current financial system is strangling the world's economy, not contributing to it. The world would be 3x richer without the waste and theft caused by inflation and Keynesianism.

>Read about Selco, he was in an actual SHTF situation for a year during the Bosnian war.

I have heard rumours that Selco's account is fraudulent, although I haven't gone out of my way to determine whether those rumours are true or false.

>Everything collapsed instantly, no police, hospitals, nothing. Roaming gangs of people looking for food and firewood.

There were roaming gangs of people during the Weimar hyperinflation (see "When Money Dies"). They used to raid people on the outskirts of the cities. Nevertheless, gold still preserved and greatly magnified your purchasing power.

I think safety deposit boxes are fine if you are investing for long term financial stability and building generational wealth. If you are worried about having to hold it physically in your hands, you need to honestly and frankly ask yourself: Would I really survive in a SHTF situation? I'll be honest, my answer is no. I have enough lead to protect myself from a few robbers, but I don't have the equipment or training to survive a Mad Max apocalypse. If your answer is yes, then maybe don't use a safety deposit box; otherwise, don't fret over it.

Also, I don't know if anyone else is doing this but I'm storing my shit in Singapore with is outside the reach of the EU and the governments here. Holy shit that ratio. Yes, please go more into silver anon. I’m not sure about EU and SG laws for this sorta thing, but like I’ve said in thread before part of the appeal of PM’s is having them on hand. But whatever works for you works

True, but good luck finding a reasonably price shotgun these days; not to be impolite, but low information buyers just think "I need a shotgun" and have caused prices to skyrocket. That being said, totally jelly of the M4 anon.

How are you supposed to grow wealth if you're holding butthorse for the next 30 years? I'm placing a limit bid for .27c tomorrow, but I was ideally looking for it to retest .22-.23, predictable pattern by the looks of it.

I posted a video yesterday, they have found diamond/gold conglomerates that mirror those of the famous Witwatersrand mine.

Check the tax law where you live. In some EU countries bars are treated as commodity and thus they are sold with VAT (higher price). This doesn't apply to coins.

I suppose you could do that, but not with this musket seeing how it's over 240 years old :)

>You're leaving out the crucial catalyst for this collapse scenario.

Fuel shortage due to embargo, saudi/russian/OPEC price fixing, banking failure, natural disaster (yellowstone eruption), or civil unrest = no trucking = no food, fuel, or comsumer goods = collapse.

Remember that the yellow vest protests in France were largely due to higher gas taxes. Our entire global civilization is dependent on the availability and low cost of a finite resource.

Thanks anons. I'll have to look into how to eventually sell it back, I had just assumed that in some far-flung future I'll bring it back a little at a time to the kind of dealer I bought it from originally, but I'm very new to this and my initial buy of 3 kilo bars in November has only just rubbed off.

I would like to get at least some smaller denominations, but right now I am a stacklet.

>Moche

That big heavy square cross section "bronze" spearhead (I think they learned to combine and smelt tin or zinc ores together with copper ore yielding the desired bronze/brass alloy) I posted is a Moche piece, the Chimu and Moche metallurgy was pretty impressive. I'm too poor to afford nice gold artifacts but agree that they kicked ass. I like the stories of how the later Incans using long alpaca wool slings rained big rocks on the spaniards from their mountaintop perches, killing horses and caving-in armored conquistador chests with one blow. Gave them a pretty good fight, maybe if their empire wasn't in political chaos at the time they could have BTFO the Spaniards.

like all of the American empires, the Inca got greedy taking over their enemies, and when the Spanish arrived these tribes rebelled and the Inca were doomed. Their last stronghold, Espíritu Pampa "Plain of Ghosts" was a city destroyed by the Inca a century before the Spanish arrived, but became their empires grave as the Spanish hunted down the last of their leadership, their last gold cashes are still thought to be hidden nearby too, guarded by locals.
