That's a valid point, but if you plan to use the exchange, you'll necessarily need to have the cheapest tokens you can have, hence people buying for the cheapest price they can have.
The pump won't be exactly on launch I guess, but the price will necessarily move up because no one wants to pay for something they can have twice cheaper.

In the worst case, people stack up to have a good token reserve and the price reach a bit less than 0,10, maybe not day one, but in a day or two if there are serious actors for the exchange.

In the best case, the few serious buyers pump the price for a bit and greedy people try to get their share of money and we have a classic pump and dump for a few hours.

Don't expect 40$ tokens, but we could see something like 0,15~0,20 $. Remember to remove half of your stack once you've x2.

some time ago a friend invited me to coinbase for some free buck they gave out and I started thinking to myself I might be able to profit from crypto. Today I saw this thread and it got me interested so much I decided to fomo in a few hours ago. I went on uniswap to trade usdc for lcx and I didn't know and still don't know how it works with wallet apps. I have coinbase wallet and there I saw gas price, gwei and gas limit which I knew nothing about, but now have some understanding of it.

Anyway the short and long of it is out of the 90 dollars I had in crypto I lost about 40 due to gas. I made my piece and just want to know what and how to do correctly to avoid it in the future.

And before you start laughing: yes it is basically petty change for most, but the best I can manage is work part time and I want to use this money to just help my family.
