Am I missing something or is SRAC ridiculously undervalued for what it is, even before the spicy dip?

>17M shares outstanding
>$15 price
> ~250M market cap
>SRAC will own 1/4 of MNTS equity, implying a merged market cap of ~$1B
meanwhile
>SPCE gets a market cap of $5B just for existing and having space in the ticker
>projected EBITDA for 2024 of $1B, even if we halve that twice that's $250M EBITDA
>a "normal" multiple of 20 = $5B
>a "tech meme" multiple of 40 = $10B
>tech meme multiple and taking projected EBITDA at face value gives us $40B but that's wild Cathie Wood Tesla Targets level wishful thinking
and then if you start calculating share prices from those market caps you get some intensely silly prices ($5B suggests $73/share at 68 million shares post-merger)

Was Tesla ever close to the bankruptcy brink? Absolutely, CEO Elon Musk revealed on Twitter. Musk replied to a fan on Twitter asking how close the automaker came to bankruptcy while it worked to bring the Model 3 into production, and the CEO answered honestly, saying the company was a month away from the tipping point. He said the period between the middle of 2017 and the middle of last year was a very tough time for the automaker amid "production and logistics hell." Musk has often used the phrase to describe the difficulty of bringing the Model 3 to life. Building cars is hard, guys.

So far, however, things seem to have shaken out in Tesla's favor. Model 3 sales remain strong, and the Model Y should help Tesla increase its production facilities' scale. But we should remember that Tesla books the majority of its profits with the sale of regulatory credits it sells to other automakers. One day, those credits likely won't be there to sell, but perhaps it's just the handicap Tesla needs to fully flourish. The automaker plans to spend up to $12 billion through 2022 to ramp up production at two new manufacturing facilities -- one in Berlin, Germany and another in Austin, Texas.

Oil is fucked for sure. With automotive gas sales drying up, and no oil-based powerplants, it's gonna be hard for them.

NatGas however is gonna peak for sure. All this green talk aside, with the amount of EVs that will hit the market in the following years, a shitton of peaking and baseload plants will have to be built, mostly gas. So any oil company that's heavy on gas instead of oil is going to come out as a winner till at least 2026.

It's already a very good game on high end PCs, and they're gonna fix it for the rest in like a year, and come out with a juicy DLC with all the cut content in 2022 or 23.

The big question is who will be positioned to take advantage of it. XOM needs to shake things up to stay on top - namely, trim dividends to stay solvent. Otherwise it'll be a chinese company to take that market share (it'll probably be a chinese company anyway.)

Wrong questions to be asking senpai.

Real question is total cost of ownership and viability of secondary markets. EV batteries degrade something like 15% every 100,000 miles which means that your $40,000 model 3 (jesus christ, i didn't realize they were that expensive, my fucking kia forte 6 speed manual was literally $16,000 out the door incl. all fees and tax) will need a complete battery pack replacement not long after purchase assuming you actually use it.

That is not an economically viable model in my opinion. The long term value of EVs just isn't there. And it probably never will be.

So far it has more cons than pros compared to a normal car.
