Hey guys OP here,

Tether fud is dumb and in all likelyhood also gay. Let me explain.

> I'm a newfag and never heard the tether fud
You need to go back

> Tether is propping up Bitcorn
You do realize tether could prop up anything right? You could cash all of your tether out and buy gold with it. Or a house. Or anything... why buy Bitcoin? Don't tell me you can't cash it out either because you totally can cash millions out, if you don't know how then you're just inexperienced or dumb.

> Tether will cause a big crash and fud and stuff
Maybe, I don't fucking care, I will just buy more bitcoin because I'm not a fucking tranny. Just hold your coins retard, the government prints waaaaay more, they just don't have an official coin yet.

The real redpill here is that some people are smart enough to trade "easy money" (Anything that can be printed from thin air USD, USDT, USDC any fiat ever, etc) for "hard money" (bitcoin).

Don't let go of your golden ticket anon. If you fuck this up you will regret it forever and consider sudoku. Or sell and I'll buy idc.

People buy tether with real fiat at a 1:1 ratio. It doesn’t matter if tether has zero dollars held in a vault. It’s an IOU and as long as they honour it then it is fine.

Bitcoin is okay fundamentally and technically. It's just Tether (the company), anon. If people were to buy bitcoin using USD (the fiat) from the beginning, there would be no issue and the fight between fiat (the gov money) and bitcoin will be more clear. I really hope tether dies.

Just use Dai.
And if you disagree then we can just use Kleros.

BizNiggers need to learn that Maker is the Federal Reserve of crypto and Kleros is the Supreme Court.

Yea but it doesn't fucking matter at all. You can trade any easy money for Bitcoin... for now. For now while we're all under the collective delusion that it makes sense to trade monopoly money for hard money. This will not last forever.

I think you fundamentally misunderstand hard money. You can make the argument that God who created all imposed arbritrary scarcity across all assets.

You're missing context. You're missing the digital information age, you're missing sending value more like a text. You're missing the fact that all things that humans value (family photos, videos, games, messages) are being digitized money is so fucking obviously going to be on the list that people will look back and wonder how 21 million people didn't immediately try to get one at once.

This is why RSR is a scam. Turning a stablecoin into a moonboi mission is bullshit. If RSR was serious about being a stablecoin they would issue at $1.00 and keep the every dollar someone trades for a gov token and then go about their governance and start diversifying into other assets. Any fag here could launch their own stablecoin right now, all you have to do is keep what people give you in USD.

Yeah, yeah. We know.
We just don't wanna buy it at 30K, when we can get it at $25K or less.

It's not imposed scarcity. The electricity that secures the network is scarce. The 21 million number is arbitrary but also irrelevant. If the limit was 210 million each "coin" would be worth ten times less but the market cap would still be similar.
