Part of me thought about rebuying UUUU again, but they received some unsavory news about direct offering today (it was posted in /smg/ earlier). I'm happy to have ridden it from 2.85 to 4.30, one if the few successful in/out trades I can boast of.

So with JPM dumping today, I know that may have been a catalyst for metals spot price (and stocks in that sector) rising while everything else took a shit. Is reality of hyper inflation finally starting to set in for people?

Not really. Most americans are still working at jobs that pay pretty much what they did 2 years ago and buying groceries and stuff at roughly the same prices as 2 years ago. If the printer causes hyperinflation it'll be 3-4 years from now.

>For most of history it never had any pragmatic uses, it was just to look pretty and symbolize wealth.
Not really. The earliest uses of metals were ornamental, but in ancient cultures those ornaments weren't created because they symbolized power so much as the people had a greater understanding of reality and realized that they in fact are powerful. Just like a shaman wears an animal pelt in order to establish a connection to certain aspects of the natural world, wearing gold or silver jewelry establishes a connection to other aspects. That is where their original value comes from. In later eras, the tendency of rulers to amass metals, gems, and other items of ritual significance was a simple attempt at emulating the stature shamans held in primordial societies. "If wearing some gold jewelry makes the sage powerful, I will just wear gold everything and that will make me the most powerful!" Interestingly, this drive becomes an almost self-fulfilling cycle in that only those able to command great power over others would be able to achieve such levels of wealth and the inheritors of that wealth would also be the inheritors of that authority. This makes the use of PMs as currency all the more amazing, because every scrap of metal out circulating is a scrap of metal not being hoarded on some elite's person in order to channel the greater power of the natural world. This shows that the understanding of the original purpose and value of the metals was obfuscated as civilization "developed." In losing the practical purpose of ritual usage, PMs gained the purpose of a store of value despite the reason for their value becoming a half-remembered echo. Other metals gained crass practical purposes, such as how iron became a lifeblood of war and industry once terrestrial sources could be tapped; whereas the earliest uses of iron were also ritualistic and its sourcing was from rare meteorites.

UUUU is still early, bro. I'm the original shill from here and still holding. I think the "offering" is actually bullish considering:
1. it's 35 million which isn't a TON but a nice amount to add to the balance sheet
2. they are already debt-free
so I see it as a way for them to expand much quicker into REE than previously anticipated. I'll happily buy the scraps.

Yes, there will be dips and maybe a crash or two, but the entire world is incentivized to keep pumping air into this balloon for as long as possible. Dollar cost averaging the S&P500 has been proven to be the most effective strategy for stock market investing outside of insider knowledge or powerful autism. I think dollar cost averaging the Nasdaq replaces that now, but that's just my opinion. I've always treated PMs as generational investments and try to live in a world of fiat for myself, so I dabble quite a bit into stocks. What got me really interested in PMs was a /smg/ fella who made a "doom bull" portfolio that consisted of 50% TQQQ (3x leveraged Nasdaq) and 50% TMF (3x leveraged bonds); he said that the market was blown well the fuck past the point of no return and there's no reason not to leverage yourself to the tits and go balls deep in a big index, while rebalancing to bonds to mitigate crashes and dips. The simulations of this portfolio with historical stock market data are absolutely amazing for such a dark and idiotic idea.

If you want a more current play that seems more familiar, you could do steel; I've got LEAPs on VALE (and CLF, but don't tell that CLF faggot). Shit, pick any commodity, they are all going to be inflated.

>but were they selling it or stockpiling it? AFAIK the vanadium is fairly recent and I know the monazite is new
It's a really long story but basically during the cold war from the 50's to the 70's the US was buying uranium for weapons and fuel which caused an enormous boom in uranium mining in colorado, utah, other neighboring states. Tens of thousands of uranium mines popped up, most of them in monazite ore and most of them with vanadium byproduct. In fact many of them were re-purposed vanadium mines from WWI and II era.
After 3 mile island and the end of the cold war the US stopped buying uranium and made it illegal to mine for most companies. Then they sent the EPA out to clean up the mess, bankrupting thousands of uranium miners very quickly.

These guys went around and bought up some of the better mines, but just sat on them. They couldn't produce and it wasn't economical to try with no government support.

so the monazite and uranium and vanadium have been sitting there out in the desert for decades, waiting for conditions to be right to go back into production. Their production may indeed be new, but the combination of ores is 155 million years old and isn't changing much.

same story goes for many of Canada's uranium boom towns. Prospecting for uranium boomed in the 40s and 50s here in BC, than cooled for a time until a new rush happened in the 70s and than anything to do with uranium prospecting or mining was banned due to several terrible screw ups at a project in Southern BC.

Saskatchewan had a lot of activity as well, famous cities like Uranium and Candu appeared in the 50s and flourished until production stopped in the 80s. Now they are ghosts on the flat bitter cold wastes of the north.

"CBDCs are all about gaining more control over the populace. The central banks need a crisis to usher in their adoption. Here is what I'd do if I were dirty like them. I'd create an invisible enemy just like climate change or better yet a virus like covid 19. I'd provide and promise long term massive amounts of stimulus at near 0%, shut small business, get as many as possible reliant on assistance payments. This would create an equity and real estate bubble of epic proportions while hurting the supply side of goods and services. Right when the market could not be more addicted to stimulus and most euphoric, I'd cut the stimulus off completely, cut off the assistance, and raise interest rates. I'd blame the banks for not lending and creating the liquidity crisis. This would decimate the stock, real estate market and main street. Very few if any would be able to service the debt, many would be completely upside-down on mortgages, broken by the market and margin calls, all while servicing a sky-high cost of living. Bankruptcy would surge to unprecedented levels, governments would also be unable to service their own enormous debts, people would be begging for a solution that unbeknownst to them the central banks created. Right when people couldn't hurt anymore and before the breakdown of society the IMF would offer a solution known as 'The Great Debt Reset'. All debts would be forgiven, people could continue to live in the same homes, they would receive universal basic income in their new CBDC wallet. In exchange for debt forgiveness people would be required to give up all property rights and keep up on the vaccines to keep their wallet active. Those without any debts will also have to accept the same terms because as Canadian citizens they are on the hook for the default of their government. Cash and the ole currency would be eliminated from the system entirely so good luck purchasing anything without the CBDC wallet. Checkmate, equality for all, welcome to slavery!"

Edward Abbey wrote some interesting stuff about Utah's uranium boom during the 70's and 80's in his book, Desert Solitaire.
It was a fascinating event from a mining perspective and also from a safety and environmental perspective. We still study a lot of that stuff in class. Uranium and radon are interesting hazards to work around for sure.
Abbey wrote of a man that found a mine so rich his skin was peeling off his body by the time he came back to town to stake the claim. He died, and nobody ever learned where his uranium mine was located. He died enormously wealthy, but his treasure killed him. Perhaps myth, but perhaps not.

For years the small hanging valley the mine was located in was reported to have an odd dim blue glow at night, and all the young miners who worked there from 41 to 55 died of cancers. I know the spots extremely contaminated and its probably for the best people dont go play there.

BC banned Uranium exploration after diamond drilling on a uranium project released radon gas into a nearby community through faults running under it. It effected a lot of people horribly and the outcry caused the Province to ban all exploration to this day.

I'd be curious to go there just to hunt the blue glow. I know how that goes though, I have radon in my house, like most people in my area. It's a common problem in our mines. In the Morrison Formation where most of our uranium mines are located it's absurdly heavy in any mine or well.

Funny thing here is hippies advertise radon as a healing thing, right? We have radon caves and radon hot springs people actually pay to sit in. The concentration at those places isn't much worse than smoking a pack of cigarettes in an hour though. My basement is probably equal to a half pack a day if you sit in it 24 hours.

Great book sort of related to this topic (free on the net because the surviving author wants people to be able to read a work that is out of print)
http://kajhalberg.dk/en/books/seed-of-knowledge-stone-of-plenty/
Basic argument put forward by the authors is that ancient ritual sites are situated at locations where geologic conditions give rise to funky electromagnetic effects which can be harnessed to "shock" seeds and thus prime them for enhanced durability and yield due to the antioxidant response. Additional evidence presented that the structures built at these sites take advantage of electromagnetic properties of stone, soil, water, etc. to either enable or empower the effect of the site. They have a chapter that goes into some of the research on human sensitivity to EM and some tangents about how less industrialized/desensitized cultures also used such locations for altering consciousness as part of shamanic practices.

The thing about Hancock is that he is entirely upfront about being a journalist. With the stuff about strange archaeology and anthropology, he's just reporting the work of other people. Granted, he also put his own nuts on the line learning to dive and spending a time actually looking at potential underwater ruins. Which I suppose is something else that distinguishes him from lesser journalists on history and anthropology; he doesn't just hit the books hard, he goes out to the front lines to romp in the mud with archaeologists.

He also sheds light on the amazing Lidar tech that has essential rendered the Amazon bare by exposing long- obfuscated structural remains, which again expose mainstream history's explanation of things down in South America.

DCEP which is the Bank of China's Central back digital currency. This tied in with the belt and road initiative, and all of the US major companies being told this is a way to use all those Chinese RMB to invest into this will allow China to cut through the entire dollar system as it is the current hegemon.

TLDR: Strap up, and this is not going good. This is why everyone wants to get a CBDC in western nations since they are about to start the fundamental collapse of the Eurodollar system. China holds a lot of bitcoin and gold which is feeding into their 3000x debt to gdp they have, and they are still able to be on top. It is because they will use this to dethrone the dollar as the world reserve currency.

In ancient Egypt, gold was used industrially. Those huge temples, statues, obelisks, etc. adorned with gold bits? Not just for show. Egyptian "magic" was practiced as science. Their ritual objects were built not only to serve as repositories for information in physical form (ie dimensions of the great pyramid encode all sorts of information about the Earth http://garyosborn.moonfruit.com/1-43200/4594099844)) but also because their shapes, physical properties, and locations were determined to be able to channel and direct the subtle forces of nature. Gold was one of the most important substances known to this science, going back to the most primordial of cultures with shamans adorned in gold accessories in order to access greater realms of power.
What are today considered massive public works follies made for the sake of grandeur were in fact giant machines designed to control reality.

You don't have to believe it yourself, but your understanding of why gold has always been valuable will be incomplete until you understand how it was seen in prehistory and the earliest societies.

I've gotta get my mercury fillings removed. Can anybody redpill me on composite vs gold fillings? I would get gold because they solve the poisoning problem and that's the traditional method, but it's been out of practice for a while so many dentists have a harder time working with the harder material and sometimes damage the dentin when pressing in an underformed filling. Also the thermal expansion coefficients of gold and the tooth are different causing cracking when eating hot and cold foods, same as with mercury amalgam. But with composite that problem is mitigated because it's designed to adhere to the surface of the inside of the tooth and expand at the same rate. Only thing I'm not sure about is if it has any harmful xenoestrogen plastic compounds like BPA for instance.

It is PUFAs, PolyUnsaturated Fatty Acids. Mainstream dietary wisdom calls them "essential fats". Ray Peat believes they are "essential for cancer". Seed oils are also PUFAs. These fats are more volatile than saturated animal fats, meaning that fish can have liquid fat instead of being congealed in the cold waters they live in. The seed oils use PUFAs to cause anti-digestive, anti-metabolic, and toxic effects on the animal if it is eating and destroying the seed. It doesn't want to be destroyed it wants to pass through and be carried to a new spot and deposited. Seed oils are the concentrated essence of seeds with all the inflammatory cancerous effects. Same with fish oil except they are necessary in climates with low vitamin D because they are often the only source, which balances out the negative effects for those people but for everyone else fish oils are negative. They also have Vitamin E which is somewhat anti-oxidative and can balance out the effects but still the effects range from inflammatory to just under neutral. This is for the common cod liver oil you see and if you eat fatty northern fish species. If you eat tropical fish you don't have to worry about this because their fat is saturated so it is less liquid in the hotter waters. This is the same reason why coconut oil is saturated; otherwise it would leak out of the nut in the heat. Coconut oil is another really healthy thing to add all the time when you can to your food because it balances out the effects of the horrible seed oils that may be in your food. Just go to Ray Peat's forum or his website.

Please tell me you guys can see this. I'm kinda schizo about censorship and shadowbanning because of Great Reset and everything. >>25537725

Yep just plated stuff this time, larger items like that will be marked "STERLING" pretty unambiguously, properly hallmarked if British, or stamped 800, 830, or 835 if they are continental european Silver alloys. If you see numbers like those 3 on american brands like Rogers that would just be a model number, not an indication of fineness.

Good luck and keep looking! And remember that often good sterling usually tarnishes a pretty ugly brown/grey/black whereas plated stuff often has rainbow hues in the tarnish, so across a room you can know to avoid the iridescent shit and beeline to the ugly splotchy grey/black stuff like this picrel sterling lid for a closer look.

You're not. Omega 3's and Omega 6's are marketed as "essential" that you are "supposed to get". They are PUFAs. You only need them in trace amounts which you get from all foods having a small amount. They also market them as being healthy for your brain since your brain is largely lipids, but it needs saturated fatty acids, not unsaturated. Even if you don't get enough your body can produce it through mead acid synthesis but that's very unlikely especially with the SAD diet in modern times. Your goal should be to have above 1:1 Saturated to Unsaturated fats in your diet. Unsaturated will get stored in your fat as opposed to being burned because your body doesn't like to burn PUFAs because it is cancerous and inflammatory so if you've been eating PUFAs for a long time you will slowly burn that off over years as all the fat in your body has a half life after which it is replaced. If you fast it will burn off all at once which will be hard on your body. Another thing is that animals can have PUFAs as their fat too; if you can why can't they? They are fed grains in huge feed lots without any grass. Same with chickens. Just grains. Corn, Basedbeans, etc. (Basedbeans are digested by your gut bacteria and converted into estrogen, which is also the same inflammatory hormone that is stimulated by eating PUFAs). In one study pigs were fed Coconut oil and they couldn't fatten them by feeding it to them, they had to feed them grain.

Also that pic says to just drink milk, but you should really get a cow share from a farm near you that you would like to support if they seem like good people (most are) and make sure it is grass fed. Then you can drink raw milk. Raw milk has many benefits that are too many to list here. It is blood plasma essentially. https://www.westonaprice.org/the-biochemical-magic-of-raw-milk-and-other-raw-foods-glutathione/
this article is not comprehensive. Also weston a price thinks PUFAs are essential fats, but they are good on milk and he discovered "the price factor" which is a rejuvenating molecule found in certain foods. Pasteurized has oxidized cholesterol particles that bond to cellular structures in your body so it isn't even just lactose sugar water after pasteurization, it's harmful.

>>25539477
Fish oil not good for heart. Olive oil is *mono*unsaturated so it's less susceptible to oxidation than polyunsaturated PUFAs, but it is somewhat neutral in terms of inflammation. Same for peanut butter, but I tried eating some peanut butter after abstaining from PUFA for a month or two and could feel the stress it caused, so I would say it is not neutral, but it might be different for others. Yeah that's part of the problem of pasteurization. Over 117 degrees Fahrenheit if I remember correctly it deactivates all enzymes. This is coincidentally the same temperature that feels hot to the touch, so you can touch something you're cooking and tell if it is raw or not. These enzymes make it easier for you to digest, and it's why raw milk goes bad faster than pasteurized. A baby cow has underdeveloped pancreas so can't produce many enzymes to digest with. This can cause pasteurized milk consumption and rejection to be diagnosed as "lactose intolerance". Sounds like your wife is another data point that lactose intolerance is actually pasteurized milk intolerance. Eat more raw foods too like raw eggs. A raw egg has everything a baby chick needs to grow, it covers most stuff for you too.

Yeah it's cringe, but normally you used to bleed a little, either in war or from mishaps. It helps to keep your iron levels lower (if you're getting too much) which can build up because your body works to retain as much as possible because it thinks you're going to lose it through blood loss. If you never lose it, then it just builds up. Blood letting actually had a reason they did it (believe it or not) and may have actually helped in some cases.

Raw milk though, she can drink a gallon of that shit and be fine. We pick up from a local farm about once a month.

Personally, I’ve bought and sold a lot of gold through it. I have faith in it, especially when you’re dealing with people that have 10’s to 100’s of prior transaction history that you can view.

mines don't stop production to capitalize on future higher prices, they just stockpile ore, matte, or bullion.

stopping production to capitalize on future prices is code for not being profitable at current prices and closing up shop until prices go up and they can be profitable again. Stopping and restarting work is enormously expensive.

Btw did I answer your question? I don't really focus on supplements because, based on the research I've done, looking at the food as a whole and how all the components work together to make you healthy and to digest easily is the best way to be healthy. Supplements in excess can cause deficiencies of other things because they compete for uptake, but often they are found in balance in the whole foods you eat. Make sure to get organic everything, grass fed meats, and pasture raised eggs. Free range eggs are still factory farmed indoors on grain. The reason for all that is most soil in unorganic food and therefore the grains most grain fed animals are fed is depleted of trace minerals which causes diseases like tinnitus, cancer, so on in pic related.

To make this pmg related: You've heard of shrinkflation, but have you heard of quality deflation (or inflation idk lol). Anyways, the quality of foods has decreased drastically. If you actually try to buy those foods in store, they are much more expensive. If you buy raw milk regularly from a farm it's easier to buy those things cheaper than in a store though.

Have you heard anything of omega 3:6 ratios? For context I did my homework on this several years ago when I decided to start taking omega 3s, so I don't remember my sources anymore. But what I had read was that an ancient human diet would have roughly equal levels of omega 3 and 6, from natural sources (fish, nuts, animals, etc). Compared to the SAD diet, where people who live inland might not consume natural fresh seafood in any form at all (thus getting 0 - .5 grams of omega 3 +EPA/DHA), and consume plenty of chicken, nuts, and grains which all contain high amounts of omega 6. We're talking about an omega 6:omega 3 ratio like 1:15, 1:20 or worse. From what I remember, a lot of the negatives you speak of surrounding PUFAs sound a lot like problems associated with getting too much of the 6 and not enough of the 3. Diets high in natural seafood and fermented foods (see SEA regions) have ratios a lot closer to 1:1, and those populations have reduced levels of those inflammations and cancers.

Think about it: our bodies weren't meant to be fed by 80% grain/corn/beans, but those are filler ingredients in snack foods and cooking oils, AND the sole food item that our beef and poultry livestock are fed. Grass fed beef has a much more even omega ratio than corn fed beef, and people who have access to fresh seafood have a much more balanced diet than inland diets that eat chicken 5 days a week.

Yeah you're right. Fat ratios in general is very important. I'm not sure about omega 3:6, but I think Ray Peat says that they are both trace minerals basically and what you say seems to agree, in that they are both so low in most foods that they are around the same level. One might be better than the other, I'm not sure, but I think the problem is that either of them are high in the first place, not that they are out of 1:1 ratio.

The main fat ratio to watch out for is Saturated:Poly/monounsaturated

Obviously it can be acquired from ear damage to the nerve endings in your cochlea from loud noise, but if you're like me your parents and yourself were responsible and didn't listen to loud music or go shooting without ear pro and still have it. Disease of the brain. Psychedelics can treat it in some cases, but I don't think psychedelics are needed. I think it's mostly diet. It may be permanent damage from trace mineral deficiencies during developmental stages though. Mine gets better when I get more sleep, less stress, better food.

Mine is a very high pitched, but not unmanageable tone. It's like those old cathode ray tube tvs but less annoying. I don't notice it most of the time and it gets more intense when I'm listening intently. Also, having bad back misalignment strangely enough affects the physiology of my brain and if I go to the chiropractor it helps a lot, but sometimes I forget about that because I don't go too often. Your brain is not just piloting a flesh suit it is deeply a part of the rest of your body through nerve connections and spinal fluid and diet.

I listened to her in a podcast where she shilled btc and she was almost completely oblivious to the technical failures of btc as a currency and network longevity. She only understands the very surface level "limited supply, scarcity" argument which makes the line go up forever, in her eyes. I find it somewhat weird because she has electrical engineering background so one would assume that she can understand the technical aspects better. However, she is not just btc shill she has a bullish outlook on gold as well so there is that. I unironically follow her, just wish she would turn down the btc shilling a bit.

I do have a silver certificate (the one on the pic, except 1935) and why are there silver certificates that go from 1$ to 10$. Why do the gold certificates go form 10$ to 1000$?? Like, I thought only the 20$ bill would be redeemable for a gold coin and the 1$ for a silver coin.

Also why did some bills back then have the "Payable to the bearer on demand", and other bills didn't?

They are somewhat random questions but I haven't been able to find the answer and I'm dead curious

Vitamin C allows your body to absorb iron more effectively, so it's a no-brainer there. Just don't consume a ton of iron in your diet and don't take supplements containing iron and you'll be fine (you'll probably be fine without doing this, but always exercise caution when doing meme shit). If you want to take a lot of vitamin C a day, just a gram in a few doses until you start to get the runs, your body will let you know when you've had "too much."

I take fish oil made from fermented livers. Heat denatures the vitamins and makes the oil useless at best, and they add artificial vitamins in, which are undeniably bad. Also, those oils are often rancid, so they can cause severe health problems if eaten in the long run (cancer). It's a similar case with plant oils, that's why sunflower seeds can be healthy but sunflower oil isn't, because of the heat used in processing. Cold pressed is much better, but it's best unprocessed.

Another example: calcium from milk and food does not accumulate to excess in the body, but calcium from supplements does accumulate in blood vessels, and increases disease risk that way.

Egg whites must be cooked before they are eaten or you won't get much out of it, you can eat the yolks raw.
