I want to start selling covered calls as it pretty much seems like the safest bet in terms of options/steady gains.

I’m thinking of selling at the nearest expiration date and setting my strike price above the current share price. I’ll pick a price I’m comfortable selling my shares at, if the stock happens to be in the money. Is this a fine strategy to start out with?

I’ve tried buying calls and I’ve lost more than I’ve gained even though the potential profit is enticing. Just going for consistency now.

It was like $43 a share and I figure it would be worth getting 16 shares of that to just ride out. If they are involved in the next few years with contracts to big credit companies or if God forbid bitcoin actually is allowed to be used in PayPal would it be a good investment? It seems stable and not going anywhere.
