Some of my friends did that and got jobs at the Toyota factory and they are doing much better than those who didn't leave.

if you've heard of the proximity principle, if you put yourself near other people with money, you are more likely to obtain some of that money yourself. sounds stupid but I'm a believer now. I will easily be a millionaire within the next 5 years and a multimillionaire by 50 at which point I hope to retire.

Also - get rid of the landlords and you don't need nearly as much welfare, since welfare exists mainly to subsidize landlords.
