I got in at 50c, with a few earlier purchases at 45c, and I just moved all my GRT to be staked. I get paid out every epoch by delegating to the biggest groups I can see and i've made at least .5 GRT (i only put in around 600) every epoch. that means that even on normal lanklet market price, i make 15c a day doing jack shit. extrapolate that to a week, that's a dollar. that's $54 dollars a year on a $300 investment (give or take), and it'll compound too since GRT will keep growing, and i'll get paid more delegating more GRT. the 28 day withdrawl period leaves something to be desired, but i'm perfectly fine with having all my GRT dialed into staking, as i make money regardless

There isn't a built-in way to see how much return GRT you've made, but what I've done is that I just track it in Excel/Sheets to guesstimate where I am exactly, and how much I'm making back.

It's not comparable to LINK, it isn't an oracle. It's an automated payment mechanism for people to host web APIs that gather data about the ethereum blockchain. Similar to filecoin except not entirely decentralized since The Graph has to act as a middleman to service API requests. Currently their service is free and the coin is just for beta testing their network. It's success will entirely depend on it's ability to offer competitive prices for queries, which is unknown at the moment
