Accumulate as much as you can before atomic swaps go live at the end of this year.

Oh well. Monero doesn't need them to grow and succeed since its poised to be come the reserve currency of the global shadow economy. Its already replacing BTC on the darknet and making inroads into the criminal sector in general.

Considering that the global shadow economy is valued in the trillions of dollars, if just a portion of that ends up in Monero's marketcap that is still HUNDREDS of billions of dollars.

I’ll disregard the fact that you intend to profit from drugs and child pornography which is pretty disgusting. Even if darknet transactions are conducted in Monero, this will not increase the value. Monero will be used as a channel to send USDs and nothing more - prices are quoted in USDs and as soon as the seller gets the Monero he dumps it for cash.

You mean just like USD and BTC back in the day?

> Even if darknet transactions are conducted in Monero, this will not increase the value

Rising demand for Monero will raise its price. Want to buy drugs online? Soon you won't be able to use anything else other than XMR. And since the online black market is only going to grow with time.....well, do the math.

> Monero will be used as a channel to send USDs and nothing more - prices are quoted in USDs and as soon as the seller gets the Monero he dumps it for cash.

Why dump a crypto that is consistently rising in value? Especially one that can be atomically swapped with BTC at a premium, since as a fungible coin XMR will always have more leverage over a non-fungible and potentially tainted coin.
