Coin tracking doesn't seem to see any of my aTokens from AAVE nor does it seem to detect any of my uniswap trades.

If that was true I would be happy. That's what I did last year because my tax person said "lol that's too many to track". I have cash nearly nothing out via a KYC exchange.

I'm just worried about the language of "all crypto to crypto transactions must be reported" and don't want to get fucked over

Not in the US. The loss or gain for every crypto to crypto trade has to be reported.

Hire a good tax attorney, it’s well worth the money. Mine handles all of my crypto, real estate/rental income, regular salaried income, and onlyfans income and all I have to do is give him some FIFO transaction sheets, he puts in the time to handle the rest and even helps me tax loss harvest at the end of the calendar year (though it’s too late to do that for this year). Best $600 I spend each year.

Tornado cash, then use a few different proxy addresses. Say someone owed you money. They wont see all the transactions behind the curtain

It's not that hard.

If I made 180k in gains in 2020 with a cost basis of ~$1000, do I need to liquidate at least ~60k to pay for short term capital gains? What if I just keep holding all my cryptos? I really don't want to liquidate 60k.

I have only traded on Uniswap. Initial funds were from selling Runescape gold...
