I agree, it's obvious "insert shit coin" is the next bitcoin. Old fag savants who bought bitcoin at 1$ obviously got it all wrong. It is evident that me and the newfag army with our 3k portfolios are the smart money here. Take my advice guys, sell your bitcoin for "insert shitcoin". Thank me later.

While it’s still likely that BTC price goes up a lot, the elephant in the room is that this is the first year that Moors Law has been disproven. Yes, the number of transistors is still increasing, but we have started to level off and the 2X every 2 years model is not guaranteed anymore. People like Andreas Antonopoulis have quoted Moors Law as the reason that BTC will eventually scale but now I’m not so sure.

there is no alt-season. Shitcoins will lose 80% of their value in satoshi's. Don't think in USD, think in sats the only ''currency'' that will allow you to survive this upcoming depression.
BTC doesn't have to scale... 10mb isn't a problem if it can be wrapped and scaled on other layer 1's like solana, eth, dot,
Few altcoins will survive.... xmr, ltc, verge maybe...
Most of the for-profit, issued by company tokens will end up in the altcoin graveyard.

My bigbrain think is if tech mattered a lot of coins would be worthless and a lot of coins would be valuable.

In BTC's case the number will go up until it hits an unsustainable ATH propped up by chinks siphoning money, then it will eventually decline and never hit that peak again. People have been predicting this since it first graced 1 dollar a BTC and no one knows when the absolute unironic peak will be. It's coming, but it might be 15 years before the technological divide vs. mass adoption and valuation catches up to it and puts it at the all-time top before people realize there are newer and more secure modules out there.

Possibly even being propped up for ages, purely because it's a good way for the government to give people an impression of freedom from the FED, while actually keeping them pigeonholed in a corral where they can be kept watch on.

Question: What happens to BTC price when govts levy a pollution tax on proof of work tokens due to their energy wastefulness?

What happens to proof of stake tokens when national governments become suspicious of their enemies (China) controlling a majority of the network?

What happens to altcoins when KYC is implemented globally if you want to convert any token to a national currency?

What happens to XRP when governments cut a deal with Ripple to use XRPL as the standard infrastructure for global currency exchange? What happens when every crypto asset except the government controlled ones are deemed unsafe and illegal?

XRP is the standard. All others including BTC are shitcoins. Screen cap this for review in where you went wrong by 2025.

my net profit from holding gold is ~$43 000 (bout 55%)
in my national currency I'm up 67%
not much but then again I'm only 26 and this is still very early in the gold bull market, expecting at least $15 000 an ounce before the bear market

my miners are up over 200%
at the end of the day I see physical gold as wealth and everything else as either investment or speculation to get more wealth (physical gold)

Money goes to country that don't have that tax and it's going to be mined there

>What happens to proof of stake tokens when national governments become suspicious of their enemies (China) controlling a majority of the network?

Dump. Proof of Stake is inherently flawed. If the coin dumps there is no incentive to stake and the currency collapses

>What happens to altcoins when KYC is implemented globally if you want to convert any token to a national currency?
Nothing. DeFi works without KYC

>What happens to XRP when governments cut a deal with Ripple to use XRPL as the standard infrastructure for global currency exchange? What happens when every crypto asset except the government controlled ones are deemed unsafe and illegal?
