Can someone tell me why this coin is bad?

Everyone on reddit wants me to buy this coin. Why would anyone want to use btc and wait for 10 minutes and pay $10 in fees when they can just use nano instead?

hey iFPnuiCx why?

Coin is down like 35x from ATH. Its price was so incredibly parabolic it probably contributed to the coin dying - the first buyers just cashed out at insane profits and the price got dunked on.

OW5IhrIP isn't the coin still useful though, like how do i buy a coffee with bitcoin? i can't. wouldn't people want to use the coin since its so cheap?

it has retarded economics (no mining distribution and iirc nano was just given out in faucets or whatever).
it has centralized nodes that are volunteers, which means it would immediately fail if the network was actually used by more than ten people.
The vast majority of its holders are tech illiterates.
Transparent ledger.
It's dev team very likely scammed with raiblocks and they underperformed on literally every claim that they made.
Their team hasn't made a single innovation since their bold claims during the peak of the bull run (really odd timing on that eh?)
Their team is centralized and they are draining their foundation (and will then leave you holding bags because nobody cares about this shit coin).
Zero adoption.
Reddit.

Technology better than BTC but not good enough to beat the meme-value. Iota is just as fast and feeless but has smart contracts, colored coins and, most importantly, includes data-transmission.

Nano tries to be next-gen DLT but only takes the first half of a step.

being designed to be fast and cheap to transfer implies that it wants to be used as an everyday currency, and why would you want your everyday currency to be high in price and volitale? if you want to make money it doesn't make sense to buy

I like, that you're blatantly saying, that you're from plebbit, so I'll give you a genuine answer. I'll add, that I first got interested into XRB when it was 80c but before it went to the moon.

Bitcoin completely shifted from being digital cash to being digital gold. The fact is, that people simply hate to buy and sell stuff for a currency, that can pump/dump 30% in one day. That's why there is no good payment coin. BCH understands that, and they want to increase anonymity, to become ecash for darknet, but smart anons know, that anonymity is not liked by governments. And also BCH is a fork of BTC, which makes it a terrible investment in every way, as people in this space despise forks. The other problem is, that NANO's tech is garbage. DAGs are a 90s tech, which means, that Satoshi didn't choose it, because he didn't see potential in it to become e-cash. From what I know it appears, that DAGs can't scale from certain point on. And the fact, that reddit is shilling is is because they want to drop these super heavy bags. This is why there is no future for this coin. Redditors will sell it anytime there is even a 10-20% pump, and when it'll go below top 100 for good, it'll die.

a lot of these are dumb arguments. bitcoin's economics approach nano's over time.
except nano's servers don't have to do nearly as much work as bitcoins, as POW is done on the client side.
>ten people.
there have been dozens of stress tests reaching over 2k TPS. in a real world scenario that's more than millions of users. The smaller nodes on raspis fail, those with real servers do just fine.
>The vast majority of its holders are tech illiterates.
wrong
>Transparent ledger.
just like bitcoin
>another baseless claim
>no innovation
Its a complete product thats supposed to be good at one thing. bitcoin's LN is useless, so thats not innovative either.
>team is centralized
there's not a single crypto team in existence that's not centralized. that's meaningless.
>adoption
its a smaller coin but its more active than most.

the blockstream glowfags changed the narrative to store of value. they tricked you into thinking of crypto like stocks (muh announcement/defi/smart contract/blockchain
you're all retards who fell for shiny buzzwords and have no idea about the original intent of crypto. the only reason for it is p2p value transfer. everything else is a scam (xrp, eth) or absolute shit (iota). NANO is the best p2p value transfer protocol.
