I posted this theory on one of Baba’s tweets and the entire tweet got deleted after my comment was gaining traction.

My theory is that on 12/30 XRP gets a massive delisting or trading halt, then comes back on 1/13 at our beloved 2k or even higher. If there is a “10 Days of Darkness” per say, that would be every business day between 12/30 - 1/13. (Reminder that 1/1 isn’t a business day) I think it makes sense. Pool did post that nuclear explosion and 30 is the last date that has yet to come. The other two listed dates were kicks in the nuts to the price. It ties in a lot of the clues that have been dropped for us. Guess we will find out. Either way, I’m not worried. I have a bag packed with 14k+ on XUMM. Going to be spending some time looking at accountants, tax lawyers, and places like Vanguard. One of the first things I’m doing is buying myself a damn house and pay off some of my and my mom’s debts.

Disclaimer: I’m not a US lawyer and obviously was not party to discussions, so this is just my gut reading.

The Tolling Agreement is described as suspending the running of the statute of limitations (I’ll leave you to google what a statute of limitation is).
The SEC would therefore obviously be incentivised to have ripple sign up to this (it gives them time to come up with any case/takes the pressure off for filing suit).
I’m unclear as to why ripple would sign up to it, though would assume they (1) were thinking this implies the SEC is holding off suing (they are kicking the can) and (2) were hoping regulators clarity would come in the meantime and wipe away the risk.

This doesn’t have to do with a promise of any sort by the SEC not to sue, so the fact that the dates overlap with the suit is not relevant.

There is a scheduled case for Jan 15 regarding BTC/Tether, I honestly have no opinion on what could happen regarding the case, but my initial thoughts is that the US government will prolong any clarity on cryptocurrencies till they have devalued the dollar in order to remain competitive with the CHY.
