So I'm looking at their website

https://network.thegraph.com/

The indexer list is ordered by the stake of each indexer, in which p2p-org.eth has the highest stake, of 33.7M GRT. But they also have a (seemingly) hefty rewards cut of 20% for both fees and rewards.

Having said this they've already earnt 1.5m GRT from indexer rewards, in 10 days, which is 4.5% of their stake. At this rate they're getting like 150%+ APY. Plus they earned 400 GRT in query fees, but that's basically insignificant.

Confusingly if they earnt 400 GRT in query fees, why does the website say that the overall query fees are 0 GRT, when the top indexer has at least 400, plus all the query fees from all the other indexers.

Any help in picking an indexer is appreciated. I have about 100k GRT to delegate. If anyone can guess my rewards per day too that would be grand.

>> No.25247015

>>25246906
okay got it, so basically while we're still in "semi-Testnet" "semi-mainnet" mode there's no query fees, until the full transition happens next month.

Still though, how does a delegator pick a good indexer?

I see there's no delegator slashing so there's no consequence to picking a really bad indexer, yet you still have the 0.5% deposit fee, which can be a decent amount of money if you're delegating 100k GRT.

Any suggestions/advice?
