1. Zcl after airdrop, i tried catching the falling knife. Went in with 100 Bitcoin at -50%, then it went further down to -85%. Had to cut my loses the next rebound. Net lost around 45 Bitcoin

2. Nxt with 30 btc had to sell it at 2 btc just 3 months ago

3. Hodling Npxs from 14 Satoshi to selling it at fraction again, from around 28 bitcoin initially

4. Missed opportunity buying 8 btc worth of strat at 7k Satoshi, but it went 200k just 6 months later. I sold way too easy at +2 bitcoin. (i would have have 300 Bitcoin ish)

5. Hodling 15 Bitcoin worth of Ada at 450 satoshi, sell at 600 thinking that I won. But 6 months later Ada was at 20k Satoshi. I will probably be up 500 btc if I know better

6.Davocoin, went it with 1.5 Bitcoin at ICO, the coin went to literally x100. Staked it to earn daily interests which gave me 1 bitcoin per day. Only cash out 3 in total. But could have dumped the bag and taken out 150 Bitcoin like my biz partner

I remember hearing about BTC back in ~2012 from a male nurse I closely worked with when I was an aide, but I didn't act then, because I tunnel visioned on my goal of becoming a doctor. I got accepted to med school then later dropped out due to depression/disgust with the field. Only become a doctor if you're a masochist. The field is just the absolute worst, especially when you consider the opportunity cost.

Now my only chance of crawling out of crippling debt is to go back to school for computers or engineering, while putting what little money I can spare into mining and buying crypto.

Surprisingly enough, my wife has not left me, and my tech-savvy biological father still sends me $300 a month. They have faith that if I can find a decent STEM job that doesn't make me suicidal, I'll be making bank, through salary, business opportunities, or the investments I bet on.

Now I just need to NOT panic sell off my crypto when it inevitably dips.

Biggest things i’ve learned
Bitcoin should always be the majority of your portfolio
Altcoins, even the good ones, spend 90% of the time bleeding sats. They tend to gain all there sats at once then bleed out for ages. As a result, be wary of measuring everything in sats and be prient with alts
Do not swing trade. Only those who have been following the market closely for years and years (not just browsing biz) should even be attempting it. You are not that person. If you try to swing trade at any kind of scale you wont be able to handle the anxiety and will likely bail back in the moment things turn against your plan. Its not worth it. The more decisions you have to make the more likely you male blunders
Ideally, dont start sticking in money until youve known a coin for a while. Im only in coins atm that i have known of for three years or more, and can clearly explain their USP and purpose.
