I used to love the BMW M5s, and the new M2 is breddy cool, but I have maintained used German cars before, and new they just make zero sense financially. Btw, Audis are the worst. Had an S4 I picked up for like $8k, was fixing it literally every week.

Actually, I am looking at the new BRZ and 350/370Zs now. I kind of don't want to maintain my Civic once it gets over 150k. I totally can, and have in the past, but it gets old when you need to do clutch, HG, VCG, headers, radiator, exhaust, bushings, shocks, calipers, lines, etc.

I just can't bring myself to look at the new BRZ though, since I would be paying 30k for basically the same hp. Of course, the BRZ has it throughout the range, not only after 6.5k like muh VTEC, but nonetheless. Still, at least you have right-wheel-drive.
