It just boggles the mind. It's things like these that go to show that only production, and by extension capitalism can create prosperity. These lefty types just cannot fathom the concept of sustainability. Same stuff has been happening over here in Finland, we've been selling our land, our resources and our industries to other countries a lot over the years just for a quick buck (although none of us have been stupid enough to sell all of our gold reserves -- and all future reserves too lmfao). Social programs and taxes spell doom for countries.
Absolutely horrifying to see what's going to unravel over there in Canada.

You do not want Ukraine because it is falling hostage to the same IMF shams that other countries like Argentina and Pakistan have fallen to. Right now you have the privatization of public goods by local and foreign oligarchs.
Example: just in July this year they were forced by IMF loan terms to reverse the law that forbids the sale of farmlands to foreign investors. So basically there goes Ukraine's most based industry, going to be bought and held by chinks for land speculation.
Also to look forward to is other public enterprises, like legal services or medical care, being privatized: bought at huge discounts and turned into for-profit businesses, profits extracted to the foreign owners at the expense of the public, who will pay more for everything.

>Not dependent on BRRRRR
Ukraine as a country has been dependent on subsidies since independence in 1991. Of course most of it went to those at the top.
UA government would BRRR if they had to as well.

What if aliens have their own supply of Bitcoin? We know the universe is infinite, and so there must be intelligent alien life out there who must have their own cryptocurrencies, and are mining their own supply of crypto; that which is far more advanced - more private, better speculations, better uses, better stores of value. Is "Asteroid mining" code for aliens mining crypto? Once we encounter aliens in the next few years, they will dump on us with alien crypto. Their supply of crypto is literally infinite. And this won't be Bitcoin 2.0, this will be Bitcoin 10.0 they dump us with. All our crypto would go to $0. Especially as Elon Musk takes us beyond the solar system in 2030.

I will keep stacking with precision the likes of which has never been seen before on this Earth, mark my fucking words. You think you can get away with shilling that shit to me over the Internet? Think again, fucker. As we speak I am contacting my secret network of mining & macroeconomy insiders across the USA and the price of PM's is going up right now so you better prepare for the hyper-inflation, maggot. The storm that wipes out the pathetic little thing you call your life. You're fucking financially ruined, kid. I can be anywhere, anytime, and I can stack gold and silver in over seven hundred ways, and that's just with my bare hands. Not only am I extensively trained in the glorious art of stacking, but I have access to the entire Sprott mining stock portfolio and I will use it to its full extent to secure my financial stability in the coming bull market, you little shit. If only you could have known what unholy retribution society's rampant debt leveraging was about to bring down upon you, maybe you would have invested in fucking precious metals. Not sure why poor people aren't doing this. Why would you hold meager amounts of gold, with only the hope that it will increase in value. Even a 2x is unlikely unless your thinking in decades. If you want risky highly speculative gains, bitcoin and the shitcoins are a better buy. If you are already rich and want to secure your wealth against inflation and have stability, then gold is the better proposition.

I have gold and bitcoin and so should fucking everyone.

>> No.25177299

Mining stocks are for speculation, gold is for wealth-preservation, Bitcoin serves neither purpose. It's vastly inferior to mining stocks for making money (at a $400 billion market cap it has very little room left to run now--that's 6x larger than NEM, the largest gold miner in the world), and, if fiat goes to zero, then BTC goes to zero with it, both because Tether will collapse, and because the productive Asian nations will demand gold and only gold in payment for their goods and services.

>Peter Schiff himself said gold and silver stocks wouldn’t moon on speculation because that money is going into BTC

He never said this. I invite you to show us a timestamp or a quote, because I'm certain that you're imagining something. In the last interview I watched, he said that even the mainstream large-cap producers would go 5x when gold doubles, and that that was a conservative estimate.

>The days of 1000xs or even 100xs in gold and silver stocks is dead and bitcoin ended them

Completely untrue. People have already made 10x on a lot of stocks this year. Vangold, for example, is already up 10x, and may attain 20, 30, or 40x shortly after it gets unhalted. And that's simply at $26 silver, which is only a 36% increase in the silver price. Klondike Silver is up 10x. Core silver stocks like Dolly Varden, Impact Silver, and Eloro Resources, are up 4-5x on the year. Aztec Minerals is up 5x, was up 10x, Blackrock Gold (a silver, not a gold stock) is up 10x--was up 15x, Freegold (a gold stock) is up 20x--was up 40x. Once silver actually does double (i. e. once when we get to $40 silver), I don't doubt that many stocks will go 100x, definitely when measured from the March low, often when measured simply from the start of this year. Then imagine what will happen to the price of silver stocks at $80, $100, $200, etc. silver. Yes, that's right--that's when you start getting 1000x.

I'm a huge PM bull and will invest until the end of this bullmarket every month. But I have to say its really "honest" to compare everything to March low. Jeff and Mike maloney for exemple love saying they "load the truck" when Silver was 12$. That's a lie, a straight lie. And they lie with a straight face in their video saying this shit. Nobody could buy this thing 12$ unless in paper form. As for miners, its not unjust to compare to march since everyone could do it but still, not a very fair comparaison. That was a crash and not everybody thought about it. Should compare to january 2020 (and they still did fantastic).

>> No.25178958

I agree that comparison to march lows is somewhat cheating. However, I think that in march we saw the absolute bottom for many stocks, including miners. It was a true black swan market panic. Including premium the cheapest I got was 14.78 USD/oz, still better than before the crash so while I understand the criticism I don't consider it a lie, just imprecise language.

Didn't have much free money to throw around because I was shitting myself about a possible supply chain collapse and busy stockpiling necessities/physical, but bought a pile of SLV and SIVR calls at the paper price bottom that did quite well. I didn't know anything about mining companies and felt that I had no time to educate myself when they crashed so cast a blind net at decent looking cheapies, thankfully everything went up. Wish I was better prepared with a researched buy-list ready back in February but I was in full schizo prepper mode and didn't have the time or attention span.

>i mean metals with low percentage of gold you can separate at home

The best option that comes to mind is "Gold Filled" items like antique pocket watch cases, lapel pins/cufflinks, eyeglass frames etc. Dunno how they would be marked in continental Europe but in the US they are stamped something like "1/10 14K GF" which means 1/10th the mass of the item is 14k gold, or .585g pure gold per 10 grams of junk.

https://www.goldnscrap.com/post/what-is-gold-filled-and-how-to-calculate-its-scrap-value

Many people ignore gold-filled items so they can often be picked up cheap or found in inexpensive bags of costume jewelry. Gold Filled pocket watch cases are heavy excellent yielders. People chop up gold filled scrap, soak in acids to remove base metal cores, then melt buttons of the karat gold foils which remain that can be refined further or just hoarded.

>> No.25179435

By the way, I didn't put in a number of even more promising examples like Abraplata, up 600% since Jan. Also worth pointing out that, at this time, it is unfair to miners to make a comparison between miners and BTC to begin with, because the prices of the miners are still representing tax-loss season, and this is their absolutely worst moment of weakness. In August, most mining stocks were double what they are now. And yet even now junior silver stocks still look more attractive than BTC.

I still don't advise using the ETFs. You can buy physical allocated platinum on BullionVault or GoldMoney for a fee of only 0.50% (same as Coinbase). Allocated metal is one of the strongest legal protections you can have. Alasdair Macleod, Peter Schiff, and Andrew Maguire all maintain that. Only safer way to hold metal is 1) segregated and registered, or 2) holding it in your own hand. ETFs give you zero legal protection. They are unallocated, which means that they give you a claim on the banks rather than on the metal itself, and you will get a cash payment in debased fiat when the system collapses, if that. They are also poorly audited, and widely believed to be fraudulent.

If I want to store it with no VAT best site would be BullionVault that's 78 Euros / year if I had 7800 to invest it would be a 1% interest and that's the doble I would pay in an ETF.

BHS is core for 2021, I don't doubt that it will soon do what Klondike did. $13 million mcap for a permitted producing silver mine in the USA is simply ridiculous. As soon as the CEO proves that he is actually selling and making cash, the market will reprice BHS as a producer and it will soar.

MTB is like buying a leveraged version of Dolly Varden--mcap is 1/5th the size but they own 5x as much territory as DV, and much of it is a stone's-throw away from that of DV. Sprott is also in it.

Nicola Mining is really good value for money--they own a state-of-the-art mill which is the only mill in British Columbia licensed to process feedstock from anywhere in the province. It cost $32 million, which is the company's current mcap. They own the highest-grade copper property in the history of North America (Craigmont), a promising gold property, and an excellent silver property (Treasure Mountain) with 5 million ounces and very high grades. Everything is permitted and ready to mine.

>>25180278

It's a shame that Kinesis doesn't do platinum (I think?) because it has no storage fees. If the storage fees on BV really do seem too much, then you might simply want to buy the miners, because at least then you are legally protected and own something real. Could buy one miner in Russia, one in Zimbabwe and one in South Africa so that you are jurisdictionally diversified.

I don't often bring it up, but Excellon Resources is an interesting stock, because they own an old silver mine in Germany called Silver City. It only closed down because silver was demonetized in the late 19th century. Interesting from a jurisdictional point of view, although the stock is controversial. You also have Adriatic Metals in the Balkans, and Irving Resources in Japan, as interesting jurisdictional choices. Tinka Resources is in Peru, Eloro in Bolivia, and Bluestone in Guatemala, if you want to spread your investments across more Latin American countries than simply Mexico.

If you're looking to buy gold through a security, the Sprott Physical Gold Trust (PHYS) is not a bad choice. They have physical bullion that is not loaned out and the fees are low enough. Sprott also has a similar fund for silver (PSLV) and one that is a 50/50 by value mix of gold and silver (CEF).

Sprott also has a fund that holds both platinum and palladium although I wouldn't put money into that fund since I think palladium is probably overpriced.

Impact not having any resources (other than the small Inferred one near their inactive mill) or reserves is kind of discouraging as it makes the company difficult to evaluate. They also don't produce all that much silver right now. However yeah I agree they are a worthy investment if silver begins mooning -- or even if silver goes down, since they have a very nice proven production track record even in a bear market. They have a great ground right there at Zacualpan. Still kind of hesitant to invest due to the reasons mentioned.

>Metals have not proven to be a hedge for stocks ever, just look at march. Miners were even worse.
That is correct. PMs are a hedge against a currency crisis and a potential hedge against inflation. The inflation (high inflation, not hyperinflation) protection aspect is stronger in metals that have industrial use such as silver. The miners just amplify the hedging characteristics of the PMs but with equity risks in return for potentially higher gains. Outside of a currency crisis, which is rare in developed economies, PMs and mining stocks are most effective for hedging against stagflation (no/low growth, high inflation).

>Impact not having any resources (other than the small Inferred one near their inactive mill) or reserves is kind of discouraging as it makes the company difficult to evaluate.

As Bob Moriarty says,

"In San Francisco at the latest gold show, one of the leading analysts in the industry took me aside and told me that the biggest problems with the small silver/lead/zinc producers in Mexico was the lack of 43-101 resources. My response is that while that is perfectly valid, it's also perfectly meaningless. The Spanish mined 9 million ounces a year with primitive methods and equipment for centuries without any resources. They simply mined until they ran out of ore and then found another vein and mined it. All at a profit. That's a lot more valid a business model than drilling until a project looks like a giant Swiss cheese, losing money and diluting your shares all along the way."

The silver is there, most likely billions of ounces--five centuries of history are the proof of it. 1 million ounces of silver produced per annum in Zacualpan for 500 years, and IPT has only produced about 10 million ounces, so they have only scratched the surface of what must be in the ground. They have $18 million in cash to use on expanding production and doing more exploration, and are actively engaging in both.

Exploration: https://ceo.ca/@newsfile/red-oak-mining-impact-silver-execute-letter-of-intent

Production (Capire): https://ceo.ca/@newsfile/impact-silver-engages-consultant-to-interpret-extensive

The more I think about Impact, the more I consider selling off my smaller, speculative positions, and simply concentrating as much of my portfolio in it as I can. Can't really get more of a sure thing. The only thing that puts me off is that the mcap is a little more expensive than what I usually prefer to buy.

>> No.25183543

>>25183191
Yes, they have the goods. But without knowing how much they have I will have a hard time evaluating the company, evaluating whether it's worth investing in when compared to other companies. The market agrees with me -- you'd think IPT has a much higher market cap that 130M with a ground like that. Also looking at their production per annum, it's honestly kind of disappointing right now. If I do invest, it'll be to profit from a silver bullrun and maybe the future expansion of their operations (which they are thankfully trying to do very actively now that silver price is in a good place).

However I like to invest in companies based on a conservative base case where I think: "How would this company do with the current prices or prices lower than the current prices?" I would preferably invest in companies whose share price will appreciate even if precious metals go down, and I'm not entirely convinced that Impact fit that description. It's the reason why I like gold miners a lot more than primary silver miners. But yeah to end this on a positive note Impact does look very attractive for any silver bull and might very well be a worthy investment for me too, but I'm not in a hurry to invest right now

The IPT production money is simply a bonus to me. I believe in the property, and treat IPT as an explorer with a production bonus. I am convinced that they have billions of ounces of silver in Zacualpan, so I tend to value it against something like DSV, which is 4x more expensive, even though it isn't producing anything, and has about billion ounces of low-grade AgEq (although those are actually indicated or inferred). The market does understand IPT's value to a certain extent; that's why it trades at such a premium when compared to cash-flow. But if it really understood, then the share-price would be much higher, not simply for IPT but for many other silver stocks. It will inevitably go higher; for now it still represents a buying-opportunity. I like IPT's financial situation. No debt, $18 million in cash. They were losing money last year, but, in the last quarter of this year alone, there was $1 million in net income; even during the whole of 2016, it was only $1.4 million, so they are getting better. Pure silver profit, almost no Ag equivalent, since IPT is the purest silver producer in the world, so every increase in the price of silver fully affects them.

I am only interested in those companies which afford the maximum possible leverage to the price of silver, since I am entirely convinced that we are going to have the greatest silver bull market in history. That's the reason why I invest in IPT, or any other of the stocks I own. I believe that we are in the midst of a once-in-a-generation opportunity, and I want to take full advantage of it.

By the way, to look into the future for IPT even at current levels of production. These are extremely rough calculations, so I may get something wrong here, but, if they continue to do as well as in Q3 this year, we get about 600,000 ounces produced per annum. Cost per ounce is about $17, and there is almost no Ag equivalent. So let's say that silver gets to $100, which is still only 1/8th of the 1980 inflation-adjusted ATH of $800. That's about $50,000,000 in cash flow. 10x cash flow valuation for a good mining company is considered reasonable, but, in the 1980s mania, many stocks got to 30x cash flow. So a one-and-a-half-billion valuation is possible for IPT in a silver bull market, even if they don't do any exploration or expansion to production. However, they will be opening a new mine at Capire (for example) which is now profitable at $22-dollar silver, and production can only continue to expand as silver goes up.

I buy Impact mostly because of its exploration-potential. I don't believe that there are billions of ounces in Aurcana's deposits, but I am sure, from the history of Zacaualpan, that there are billions of ounces there. As far as production goes, I like the fact that Impact is already producing, and has done so for the past ten years. It has proven itself as a producer already. Whereas Aurcana was inexcusable to its shareholders in the past (see the Ouray incident), and failed to execute its plans. If I buy Aurcana, first, I'm buying a high-grade production project, not a truly colossal silver deposit with a production bonus; secondly, I have to trust that everything in production will go perfectly well. But why not trust just as well that expanding production will turn out for the best in the case of IPT. Capire alone would add 50% to the current TPD of processing capacity, and that is only the start.

By the way, does anybody know how many square km Aurcana's properties are? I found 4,400 hectares (44 square km) in 2004, but they have sold off a lot of them since. I have read both 211 and 357 square kilometers for IPT--perhaps the 211 is only Zacualpan.

If you fill in the blanks, the most profound thing about jews is how you can trace them being kicked out of England (they were mentioned in the Magna Carta lol), they get kicked out of France later, and after arriving in Holland, they begin to finance civil war in Britain and Oliver Cromwell lets them in. They set up a central bank like 50 years later and begin going to war on credit with Spain. Then France and Russia. Real money can not withstand the credit system and everyone is weakened. Britain was insanely high living standards, and their new central bank imposed countless taxes and a 20% income tax, forcing the people to work year round to live their lives to pay for the largesse of the banks. History and propaganda makes us think people were eating their own shit and dying, when in fact, citizens were volunteering their time to build beautiful cathedrals and transcendent architecture.

Not too fond of Schiff in a way. He is right about pm's as a hedge against devaluing fiats but his timing is all wrong. Other assets may or may not be better or worse hedges against that but gold is a sure bet
>>25185928
Eh, it's less about the amount of ounces in the ground (which, in Impact's case is total speculation mind you, it's anybody's guess how much there is right now) and more about how much they can mine during the next bull market in my opinion. If you ask me, this is about TIME. Time is of the essence, time is money. Even if Impact has (speculated) ten billion ounces it won't matter as much in a bull market if they are only able to produce 1Moz pa, while "smaller" competitors will be raking in fatter stacks of cash for the duration of the bull run. Both companies' assets have significant resource expansion upside too so both are in that way capable of increasing the share price and future production/LOM

I guess when it comes to Impact and Aurcana, Aurcana has higher risk while also having a greater potential upside in the near-term (<5 years), but Impact is the safer bet as they've already proven themselves to be a reliable producer and will probably become a bigger company at a slower, steadier pace. Capire will be a big addition to Impact's production portfolio especially when they upgrade the mill to a 2,000tpd one and continue exploring areas close to that mill.

I actually tend to believe that this is going to be the last silver bull market. That is to say, if what I am preparing for is the destruction of the dollar, and all fiat currencies with it, then I'm not looking for silver to spike briefly, and then collapse back down again, as in 1980 or 2011. I'm expecting it to go to a new level and stay there on a permanent basis, to become money again, or at least no longer to be suppressible on futures exchanges. So the really large properties and undervalued deposits are what interest me the most. I like the way Sprott invests in that way--very few producers, mostly explorers. I see that MEK is a gold stock; you might be interested in a gold explorer of a similar mcap which Sprott does own called Genesis Metals (GIS). It's one of the few gold stocks which I have made an exception for in my portfolio. They own 275 square km of land in Quebec, or 3x more land than Dolly Varden, and as much as Impact Silver. They have an excellent management team, and recently drilled 13.03 g/t gold over 10.74 Metres, and 4.56 g/t gold over 40.50 metres. $3 million in cash for further drilling. And yet the mcap is only _$11.8 million_. It's also 43% down since January, despite the $400 increase in the gold price. One of the most undervalued explorers, in my opinion.

I have often spoken here of my single-minded obsession with silver, and the fact that my portfolio is almost exclusively concerned with silver junior mining stocks. But even I had to make an exception for GIS, simply because it seems like a case of radical dislocation in the market. I did find some recent complaints from one "Lock12345" on Stockhouse, but he might simply be an exhausted shareholder who is jaded from the long 2016 decline, and giving up just when the turn is coming. He doesn't give many specifics, mostly generic comments.

"After a year under David's direction this stock is still at $0.05 (pre-rollback price). He should be removed and go back to counting his money he made from Great Bear as he is adding zero value here. I thought he would be better than Brian Groves but he has proved otherwise.

I don't see 2021 being any different for GIS unless they find a new zone with massive g/t at width.

I sold most of my shares months ago (yes, sold at a loss) but still hold a few and I check in from time to time to see if I am nearing my average cost with what remains. Unfortunately it is the same old, same old. GIS will rise as other juniors rise...big deal...other plays would give a better return though. That's why I sold and went looking elsewhere."

-

"The GIS team here have been at it for almost 5 years (it was once Entourage) and the Discovery Group has been involved just over 2 years...all I have seen is mis-step after mis-step. Like I said before, I have a few shares left here and have already taken my loss and thankfully they are offset by gains on some of the ones listed above and plays in other verticals.

Buyer beware on this one is all I am saying. I was here too long and finally left to make money elsewhere. Do your DD thoroughly."

People also complain about a lack of news releases or results in June or July, but that was long before the recent results which I brought up.

The IRS will respect your RRSP as a retirement vehicle, and not apply the 15% tax on US-based stock divis. However in a TFSA or god-forbid an unregistered account, you will be subject to that 15% tax. Hope this helps.

Hey there, Since the recent run in pgm was from first pour being priced in, I actually expect a bit of sideways movement now for the price to take a break. The catalyst for the upward trend from the last few months is now fully priced in, so I personally don't see the chart continuing on that same trajectory. The recent high on chart on Dec 15 or so lacked the momentum of previous highs, and was given back immediately too.

I think the chart breaks the recent trend and we start making a few lower highs, consolidating gains by shaking out momentum buyers and letting people who bought for the production price-in to take profits (6x from March) and rotate into other pre-producers, until the price of Gold takes off again sometime in Q1. Probably then making a new upwards trend towards the 2011 highs.

For me, Puregold's a hard one to predict right now. With recent price run-up being from a catalyst being priced in, I have to see the new trend after the catalyst is over to start taking guesses at where the chart goes.

I've stayed away from Nighthawk Gold ever since IKN slated it in August. You have to be careful with Mark Turner, because he's a bigoted, vindictive person with a lot of prejudices (especially when it comes to Sprott, Quinton Hennigh, or silver), but he not unfrequently gets things right. For example, he correctly predicted that Almaden and Novo Resources would plummet this year.

https://iknnews.com/nighthawk-gold-nhk-v-offers-robert-cudney-a-lesson-in-21st-century-marketing/

"Why is Nighthawk Gold (NHK.v) failing so badly in 2020, despite gold pushing well North of U$2,000/oz? The answer is Robert Cudney of Northfield Capital and, lately, self-styled Twitter guru. Back in 2019, this stock was a mining FinTwit special, massively over-hyped on rose-tinted spectacle blather and nonsense out of the mouth of the extremely conflicted Cudney (a very large shareholder and “active in the market”, as we say; he may have forgotten to tell you that):

When reality reared its ugly head earlier in the year and people who actually know what they are talking about started to factor in the remote location, the selling began. Unlikely to stop too, no matter how much loudmouth Cudney tries to pump otherwise, the gap left by real news in late July shows zero signs of closing.

What you get to experience now is 21st century losses, Cudney: Your failed pump has lost you a crapload of cash and that’s good, but your BS also cost a lot of people around you a lot of money. Those are the people on Twitter, now. Have a nice day, Cudney."

The value of LIO is insane right now. I'm in the same boat, bought at 1.50 thinking that was a good price. We're at total bargain bin prices here. You know LIO's story so I won't talk about that. To any anons/lurkers reading this, do your DD on these companies btw.
Nighthawk has similar value in my opinion, and both will be doing a lot of work in 2021. Nighthawk is also cheaper than it was in January and has hit consistent drill hits and even come up with a maiden resource (to which the market reacted negatively, apparently investors were expecting a bigger resource and there was an overreaction). Excellent gold developers, both of them.
>Nighthawk looks ready to explode sometime in Q1Q2, how could it get any cheaper unless something terrible happens?
Unlikely. Well-funded for exploration next year and in no shortage of prospective targets.

As for AWE, they're an exploration play I found after investing in LIO. Also in Fiji, they have some great prospective properties adjacent to each other. They're doing two drilling programs right now. I'm expecting great things from the company next year. Here's an analyst report from Red Cloud that should pique your interest:
https://www.thunderstruck.ca/images/pdf/20201209-AWE-Initiation.pdf
>We firmly believe Thunderstruck is currently being undervalued by the market and could rerate 5x to 10x on positive drilling news given that Thunderstruck has an EV of C$5.4M versus similar sized peers at C$52.4M.

If I had around $1000 CAD to invest right now, would I be better off buying 1kg of silver or a part-ounce of gold? That's interesting, didn't know about that. So far as I can understand any substantial criticism in this IKN post, Turner is saying that NHK is in some kind of remote location which doesn't make it viable as a deposit. He was saying something similar about Northern Shield Resources (NRN) before it plummeted 52% in the middle of this year. That stock was pumped all over the newsletters and ceo.ca, so Turner does seem to know what he is talking about sometimes when he goes against the herd.

>Turner is saying that NHK is in some kind of remote location which doesn't make it viable as a deposit
True, the area is remote -- they have to build like 200km of roads to be able to ship the ore whenever they begin mining. Not sure about the capital cost there but since I believe the area is riddled with gold and since they command such a large landmass (>900km2 -- triple the size of Timmins!) I don't think those capital costs are going to be a big problem. Canada officials might also help out a little with those costs, they've built roads to help juniors before to my knowledge.

NHK is a long term play, not something I expect to see in production any time soon. Maybe five years, maybe a little earlier. Difficult to say but in any case I believe in their ground and they've been producing consistent drilling results during the entire Fall/Winter, from multiple different zones in their flagship Colomac Project. Very promising long term play in my opinion.

Guess the man is a little rough around the edges when it comes to wording but might be a pretty good short-term analyst? No idea, I don't follow other people that much. In the case of NHK though it just read like some angry ranting about the share price going down due to the PP. He even accused the CEO -- who by the way bought a lot of shares along with insiders after the price had dumped to 1.70 -- of pumping the stock.
All things considered, these comments from the sidelines are worth considering I suppose, but unnecessary for investors who know what they're getting into and why. I like to look at companies in a vacuum and if the company produces great, consistent results everything else is noise to me. I've no doubt that NHK will surpass the previous high that it had this year in time, hopefully next year.

huh very odd, but I do love reading about this particlar deposit. If Novo has figured out the highest concentration zones in that paleoplacer material than it could be a bonanza, but I am still hesitant about that whole project, I am not sure it can make money. I am hoping I am proved wrong.

also nice trips!

Thanks, nice dubs.

Yeah I'm also a little hesitant myself about Novo (although I haven't done thorough enough research on the company and its land assets). But if they do crack the code there so to speak, the area will start attracting majors. There's already a bunch of juniors in the area around Novo's claims. Will be interesting to see what comes of the Pilbara/Kalgoorlie region.

"Bob Moriarty: Yeah, but you just said something that, unfortunately, it’s the way most investors invest. They want to buy stock and they want to sell it high. That actually is a logical failure and that’s why they don’t make money. You want to buy and make a profit. You do not have to hold onto it until it hits a new high. There’s lots of stocks that you can make 100%, 200% a year. Buy and hold is probably a mistake if you are a true contrarian. If you’re a true contrarian you want to buy when everybody hates stocks. If you go to the chat boards, you’re certainly aware of CEO.ca. Everybody’s been out with their long knives trying to stab Novo, Irving, and Lion One. That’s exactly the time to buy, when everybody hates it."

just realised that Genesis' Chevrier property is in the Abitibi's Chibougamau mining district, right next to Dore Copper and QC Copper and Gold's properties. Lots of infrastructure and a skilled workforce there, along with great grades. Under recognised area for sure, although QC has been starting to get attention recently.

>The people who have thousands of ounces of silver fucked themselves over by not putting that money into gold, which will always be the better asset

Maybe in 1940, but silver will be the king of the 21st century. Silver has always been my favorite metal anyway, over 4k Ozt and counting. No regerts.

Lol okay retard, the silver moonshot is coming any day now right? You always say it’s right around the corner, but it never fucking happens. And when it did hit ATH it crashed and returned to normal in a few years. You want silver to moon so desperately you make arguments based on emotion and not fact. my issue with them is that paleoplacers are always a massive pain in the ass to properly map. They are almost always extremely scattered and patchy, with concentrations of course gold in often random locations or where later geologic processes have disjointed the deposit. It makes planning an actual mine around them near impossible. A paleoplacer mine on the Frazer River near Prince George BC back in the 90s put 10 million into an exploration and mapping program on a cemented paleo channel 100m from surface, thought they had the place figured out and started underground mining. The project went into receivership a year later after only recovering 60oz's of the expected 10,000oz. Thats how problematic these deposits can be.

Oof, sounds like very risky business. Yeah I'll just stick to VMS, BIF, sulphidation, alkaline and porphyry deposits
