Lol, very funny anon. I know that diversity stuff is irritating but according to Pan Man women aren't that uncommon in the industry. I'll be focusing on the project financials and future prospects. Great Panther does have potential, the question is whether it has more potential than the others. The high production costs on some of their projects is a little discouraging though. Aurcana I'm also a bit hesitant about due to the bad financing deal they got. I'll have to look at all of these companies individually first and then do a comprehensive comparison. Might even opt to use Excel here lol. I'll have to try and get the best valued company with the greatest upside both in a vacuum and in relation to rising precious metals prices.

Almost all the best games are Japanese. I'm very fond of Hidetaki Miyazaki's games, he's the president and primary director of From Software.
His best one in my opinion is the original Dark Souls. If you're more into Japanese culture, Sekiro might be a better pick. If you like Victorian architecture and classic horror vibes, Bloodborne is really great. Just keep in mind all these games are very difficult to get into, even for seasoned gamers. But the reward for perseverance is high, there is no better atmosphere and lore, let alone gameplay, than Fromsoft games in my opinion.
Of course, you have several decaded to draw on. Nintendo has a history of great games as well. Platinum if you like pure action, Oldschool Squaresoft for RPGs, Konami games for action, Capcom for platformers and fighting games. I guess it depends on what you're looking for.

Shadow Tower, in particular, applies better to /pmg/ I think, because the currency in those games (called cunes) are basically ounces of silver that you can find laying around in the environment. Especially the second Shadow Tower game, subtitled Abyss, which was only officially released in Japan, but you can find a fan translated version of for emulation.

All I know about heap leaching is that it’s cheaper than the alternatives and good for large volumes of shit-tier ores. There’s also a 60-70% drop in yield, which somewhat negates those initial savings.

Whoever buys miners who use heaping should study the local jurisdictional attitudes due to the health concerns posed by the method.

High tonnage, low grade usually means open-pit mining. Open-pit mines usually have cheaper capital costs than underground ones with cut-and-fill mining for example. Not sure whether heap leaching has some common problems or the like but the most important thing to look for is the recovery percentage whenever the company sends out a bulk sample for processing (but that's later down the line, for El Mezquite that's months/years away as the property doesn't even have a resource estimate yet).

No, not really. I tend to like things that are really out there and bombastic. But they have to be internally consistent, which is why I dislike a lot of anime. Japanese games aren't much better in that regard for the most part, but I can look past it if the games are at least fun to play.
One of the main reasons that I like Miyazaki's games is that they are internally consistent.
Another game that does that well is Nier: Automata, plus it has sexy robot ass.
I don't really see a need to mix my fiction with reality. I believe I have a better understanding of reality than most people, the fiction aspect is my escape from those cold truths.

BLLG IS a copper play. They have the biggest reserves in the world and highest grades. 2 billion dollars worth of copper all indicated.

Another interesting take is that BLLG is partned with NICOLA mining, who does the milling for all of BLLG's ore. NICOLA had the only permitted mill in that area that is fully permitted and operating.

You want to make the KING of speculative copper plays then thats it right there.

Look into it. It completely flew under the radar until last week.

Question - How do you recalibrate your mindset to not become emotionally attached to the mining stocks in one's portfolio? Because miners are more special and interesting than crap like doordash or pumped biotech, especially in this time of great change and uncertainty, I find myself being reluctant to sell and pull gains off the table from stuff like Oroco to move more effectively into undervalued companies and tend to treat mining shares like the forever-hold bullion in my stack which I definitely am emotionally invested in. I know it's stupid, but how do you break that retarded attachment?

Or do you basically just hoard/accumulate sitfolio style and try to avoid overcomplicating things?

Thanks for the advice anon, I certainly need to get better at DD, I've been ADHDing for months trying to stack physical, learn to select and then collect dozens of mining positions (should probably trim down to no more than 20), learn to trade options, work from home and also chase the kiddos around. It's too damn much for me to chew and digest properly so it just feels like I'm treading water and not really getting anywhere even though I've seen respectable gains so far. Maybe that's just greed and fear about me and especially my kids not making it causing me to feel like I need to achieve the improbable if not impossible ASAP, probably similar to how >>25129539 anon feels though I'm pretty sure the engineered implosion of real estate will bring cheapies like we saw a decade ago back. A local coin shop would arguably be your best bet since you won't have to deal with the hassle and worry of shipping bullion through the mail. Also, talking with a person face to face, you might be able to negotiate a better exchange rate.

I know a lot of people are going to hate what I'm about to say next but the easiest way to trade gold and silver--playing the gold:silver price ratio--is with ETFs such as GLD and SLV (or using a platform for bullion trading such as BullionVault. The transaction costs are almost certainly going to be much lower since your buy and sell prices are going to be within a few basis points of spot price.

>playing the gold:silver price ratio--is with ETFs such as GLD and SLV (or using a platform for bullion trading such as BullionVault

These things are not equivalent. GLD and SLV--when the COMEX defaults, you lose everything in those things, it's simply gone. They're unallocated frauds, banker playthings. BullionVault is like Kinesis and GoldMoney--fully audited, and when you buy there, your metals are allocated, and legally yours. You can even register a silver bar on BV when you get about 900 ounces, and make it segregated, which is even stronger from a legal point of view.

Took profits on PGM. You`re in the 9th inning in a a game that may have extra innings. I`ve said this a hundred times, but the production cashflow gets priced in during the run up to the first pour, not right when they make the first pour. Otherwise everyone would just all in a week before production, it makes no sense at all. PGM is now about gold price and exploration potential, the latter aspect being mostly why I`m holding the remainder of my shares, along with my trust in this management team and my belief that producers very good holds for this next leg. Yeah micros kind of live their own life. I want more medium caps because micros won't be affected by rising commodity prices as much. On the topic of selling and getting into a microcap, if all your investments are good and the investment case hasn't changed and you still believe the company to be undervalued/charged for price increase, just wait until you can invest more money and put that into the micros.
No need to sell solid money for speculative money unless you're extremely convinced you'll get bigger returns quicker with a microcap.

Heap leaching is great for massive amounts of low grade ore, but it has some draw backs that depend on location. Dramatic temperature shifts from hot to cold can cause problems with the reaction, changes in pile density is another issue. Often parts of the heap pile will freeze in cold weather while others dont and it causes the fluid to flow in specific areas meaning you dont get a consistent leach fluid.

Yes I believe silver has both the currency crisis tail risk case as well as the industrial demand case going for it.

>> No.25138007

>>25137616
So you're using the bubbles in everything as a reason for investing in silver? I had thought that you were thinking more along the lines of all auto manufacturers increasing their own production of EVs dramatically such that a lot more electrical production and delivery infrastructure is required. I'm only aware of solar panels requiring substantial use of silver.

It's difficult to know what's government policy is going to be if/when the various bubbles pop. A popping bubble by itself is not going to be good for the price of PMs as it's a tremendous deflationary force. Of course, Fed policy for the past few decades has been to flood the markets with liquidity after a bubble has popped in an effort to reflate the bubble. It's not clear if the Fed has another such bullet (massive bubble reflation) left as it's entirely possible that another such attempt results in a currency crisis. At that point, it's possible that the Fed will allow some sort of wipe out.

I'm fairly certain that the Fed will allow retail investors to be destroyed. That means shareholders in overpriced meme companies like Tesla, Shopify, The Trade Desk, Peloton, Zoom Video, etc. will be allowed to take 90+% losses and be told, "That's the risk that all stockholders take in return for returns than can be better than bonds or savings accounts." It's far more difficult to know what's going to happen to the bond markets. Maybe private pensions will be allowed to go bust and pensioners will have to settle for pennies on the dollar. Crappy companies who issued bonds can go bust and no one will miss them except for the PE companies that loaded them up with debt.

So long as the debt exists, I don't see a currency crisis. If the debt is defaulted upon and the creditors eat it, I don't see a currency crisis. It is only if the debtors and/or creditors are made whole through idiotic monetary policies that we'll see PMs and hard assets go wild.

>> No.25138337

>>25137662
I don't think EVs will matter in a short enough time frame to move large amounts of silver. The rise in silver price this year was a result of money movers, hedge funds, pensions, etc. demand. It compensated for an implosion in industrial demand. Silver industrial demand returning to "normal", with or without solar memes, would be even more buying pressure.

That seems highly unlikely. $700B of savings moved into checking accounts just means that the money is going to be put to use (consumption, investment). $700B isn't all that much money as it's less than $10,000 per household. Without more data, this money could be earmarked for cryptocurrencies or high-flying technology company stocks (the final stages of bubbles typically exhibit massive surges of new money as people buy in for fear of missing out) for all we know.

I don't know much about the domain, I'm starting to study how it works and how should I invest on it.

I think I'm after junior explorers (companies that have found some reserves and which are backed by competent people), but I'm not so sure about how to identify the level of maturity and potential outflows for companies yet, so I'm looking for ideas and suggestions

Kinesis runs on stellar blockchain. They have 2x a year audits by bureau veritas (or whatever the name is. It's a 100+ year old auditing firm. Highly respected). Great trading platform. Because of the partnerships they have made with a muslim post office their gold market is like 100x more liquid than their silver market. Kinesis runs on top of the allocated bullion exchange. It was I think the biggest ico in funds raised a couple years ago. Don't own all of your shit on their, but it's a very good way to buy gold cheaply and have it instantly spendable as cash 24/7.

in the OP links there is a pastebin with basic info on how to research these companies and figure out if there any good. This is a very volatile part of the industry and not really the best place to start with beginners. I would suggest looking at the bigger companies first and learn from there.

Also what part of the world are you interested in looking at, there are many different regions to investigate.

I'm about to drop $190k on a mix of 40% gold and 60% physical silver. Mostly as a crisis aversion mechanism. I'll still have a decent amount of cash on hand.

For me a big part of that would just be that size wise, a $100k stack of gold would be way more manageable than a $100k stack of silver, for example. I think both metals will do good however but if I was putting that much money in that would be one of my considerations

Not him, but gold is a much more stable store of value and its wealth density is about 100 times greater than that of silver. Silver is a speculative asset, gold is tried and true way of preserving your wealth

Hundreds of pounds of silver doesn't actually take up that much space, I prefer Silver but you being in real estate would probably find gold bullion quite useful for buying/trading for cheap bottomed out property, though 500oz monster boxes of trustworthy government issued Silver 1oz coins would probably be very liquid for such purposes too. A rich bastard I know is hoarding silver like no tomorrow and is much more willing to let his gold go in his off-books business transactions which I think is pretty interesting. Silver is indeed considered speculative but has glorious potential at this point in the world's technological trajectory so I am about 95% Silver with several ounces of gold just in case I'm retarded.

Pan Man -- your opinion?

>However, increased gold production doesn’t come without potential risks, but solutions do exist. For example, Randy Smallwood, Chair of the World Gold Council and CEO and President at Wheaton Precious Metals, commented: “While climate change is a global challenge, it is also an opportunity for the gold mining sector to reduce its greenhouse gas emissions by transitioning to renewable energy sources, which isn’t just good for the environment, it’s also good for all stakeholders. We still have a long way to go, but as an industry we are proud of the progress we have made over the last few years and the continued efforts to transition our energy sources. This new report not only shows what we as an industry have accomplished, but also highlights the improvements the industry is striving to make over the next decade and looking even further ahead at 2050 in trying to achieve the Paris climate targets."

i am a little busy right now but the mining sectors already half way though transitioning to EV machines already, at least in North America. EV is cheaper and easier to repair and causes less issues for the men working. Many mines too are trying to shift to clean energy for site power as well, for example most of the Golden Triangle projects are running on "run of river" hydro power now which saves tens of millions of dollars on diesel fuel. I ll read the rest of the article later this evening.
