Point out where I'm wrong. The wrapped STA actually points to a fatal flaw inherent to burn tokens. They can be wrapped to remove the burning. The fact that Statera willingly introduced this (severely crippling the burn rate) instead of forking balancer is mindblowing.

There's a wSTA/STA pair where the burns will occur. + from arb opportunities + transferring wSTA-STA and STA-wSTA and from people adding liquitiy to the pair to incur fees with close to 0 IL

Cope. If there is no need for STA then nobody will trade it in the future, they'll use wSTA.
>would you want to hold the non-deflationary part of the ecosystem
wSTA still benefits from OTHER brainlets burning their STA, but this entire thing results in a tragedy of the commons thing. Everyone wants burning but nobody wants to be the one burning.

And that means STA will be burned lol
How do you plan on getting the wSTA for balancer? You have two options:
1) Buy wSTA directly - this takes it off of it's 1:1 peg with STA which creates ARB OPPORTUNITES which burns STA
2) You transfer 1:1 for STA which burns STA (1% burn for transfers). If you convert back to STA from wSTA it's another 1% burn

>> No.25088028

>>25087644
I'm not talking about burns within the pool. If the balancer pool has to continuously buy/sell wSTA within the new pool, this will continuosly throw the pair off of it's peg which invites arb to buy and sell between the pair on uniswap which creates the burn

Simply put for you absolutely fucking huge RETARDS:

>no WSTA/ETH liquidity
Every wrapping and unwrapping causes burn
Selling/buying causes burn because STA needs to be used

>some retard actually adds ETH/WSTA liquidity
As STA can be wrapped at 1:1 this is an opportunity for arbitragers to keep the prices of the tokens in balance.
WSTA more valuable than STA? Wrap STA (burn), sell for ETH.
STA more valuable? Buy WSTA with ETH, unwrap (burn), sell for ETH (burn)

Pooling is providing liquidity to a token pair on uniswap. By providing liquidity you earn a fee for every transaction made between the tokens of the pair you're holding. Statera released a new liquidity pair consisting of STA and wrapped STA (50/50). The price of these two are tethered to one another so in theory they should always be the same. In practice however there's sometimes a slight difference between them (just like Tether is not always worth exactly $1). When they're not the same an arbitrage opportunity is created and the token rebalances itself automatically generating volume and burn (and more fees for you). That's is the gist of it, if you want more info you can go on the telegram and ask, people are really helpful there

Game changer for STA volume

>> No.25103858

A few months ago it was revealed there was a "secret project" to increase it's liquidity, perhaps this was it. This wSTA is an ingenious idea, instead of bagholding STA, people will provide it liquidity since it's the better play, which boosts it's burn mechanism.
In one single day, the wSTA/STA liquidity has surpassed by twice the amount in the Balancer pools, which increases the burn rate, which boosts it's upward pressure. Add this to the fact whales have not entered the game yet, and perhaps we can conclude $10 was FUD after all
