It has no clear target or niche. The devs rejected sharding. On chain governance has been proven again and again to be broken as a concept. It uses OCaml. It has nothing going for it.

Pretty much agree except I think there's a spot for one utility chain, and I think it will be ETH. With the new direction of it being pretty much just a data availability engine with arbitrary execution environments and minimal scaffolding to connect the things built on it I think it's game over. The different features, programming languages, etc that other chains use to market themselves will be available on different networks built on the data availability provided by eth2. Maybe there will be some more loosely coupled sidechains too, but overall it's all BTC for the SoV and ETH for anything else.

Its another totally dead chain otherwise though. There is tezos wrapped btc now, there is a uniswap clone, but literally no interest. If the uni scammers would move to tezos there would be alot of price action, but its not going to happen, its just not.
