They also do not allow you to trade options that are expiring that day (usually Friday) which is a prime scalping day.
Thinkorswim charges commissions on options (like a dollar per leg). But their PC app is one of the best. Their android app is kinda shit though, ive heard the iOS app is better and comparable to desktop. However if you are trying to do penny contracts (like SPXU options) the commissions will destroy you.
I generally do research in PC TOS app, then execute the trades in robinhood to avoid the commissions.

I'd argue this comes down to his trading style. My portfolio would seem "overdisersified" to some people but the accounts I have with the most diversification makes me the most money. Compared to my Roth, which I keep only about 5 positions in due to the hard cap of how much I can place into it, moves the fucking slowest out of everything. I'm constantly jumping in and out of positions while keeping the absolute top winners at my disposal. It makes it so that I almost always have a super green position on any given day, even if the others are red. I don't have a crystal ball to know which one of my picks will give me huge gains (and there's no way I'd have all in'd at NIO when it was $18 with the expectation of it getting to current prices). So instead of trying to put all my eggs into a few baskets I'll hold multiple positions. My portfolio has total gains that look like

>+180%
>+300%
>+45%
>+9%

And while ideally I'd have liked more money in the +300% position, realistically I would have most likely lost that money instead. Because sometimes I win, sometimes I lose, but I drop positions that are huge stinkers while keeping the winners. Some of those positions, like NIO, have a huge +300% for me but ultimately just crab at that +300% so opportunity costs would eat away at potential gains. But I'm also not interested in selling those positions while they're crabbing because I feel they still have more room for growth even if they're stagnant at the moment.

It's been working out well for me. I'm too anxious of a person to trust putting huge portions of my portfolio on single positions unless they're index ETFs (which I use as my stable core positions)
