>buy a bunch of BTC in 2012/2013
>have them all in my hard drive
>lose the laptop
Me sad.
>today discover an old USB drive inside an old backpack's pocket
>it contains a copy of the wallet
>wallet.dat
Me euphoric. I have a chance to make it.
>MultiBit was deprecated
>no way to download it
>all tutorials to import old MultiBit wallets have disappeared
>no modern wallet allows me to import them without first exporting the private keys from MultiBit
Having hope and losing it is way worse than having nothing.
