Second this

Also it’s never too late

The age cap on becoming a professional would be maybe 35. Any older and it's unlikely that anyone will hire you for an entry-level position. Age bias is real in tech jobs.

Nah man, there's always new niches. Plus, if you get really good at things that no one wants to really touch, like server back end optimisation or work at some company that deals in cybersecurity, you can make some serious money.
Most places in Australia here offer $100k (~75k USD) minimum for junior positions

Can you get qualifictions in coding jus from doing it on the side? Even if your actual degree is unrelated

>> No.25002403

was 24, moved back with my mom, no degree, no skills, no anything. Always had barely passing grade in math and in general kind of a brainlet

Went to college for programming (didnt learn much there), applied for interneship in second year, got a job after a month full time as a iOS dev

Point being, if I could do it, you can too. My portfolio and skills were pretty much just pirated udemy courses follow along and some basic OOP knowledge

I’m almost 35 and this depressed this shit out of me. I do all the fiber splicing and cable pulling but i wanna get out of that and something that isn’t gonna ruin my body. Was thinking of getting my network+ cert since I already know the physical aspects of the network.
