You're not seeing the entire picture. You're looking at BTC/USD relationship. Is BTC going up, or is USD going down? It's not sustainable, at least the way the fed is treating the dollar it isn't, but bitcoin is here forever.

You need to zoom out. It only looks scary because you're so zoomed in. If you were to zoom in on that flat line to the left there, it would look exactly like this chart does right here. Basically you're too zoomed in. Eventually these crazy peaks will become a flat line.

35% of all USD in existence were created this year.

Let me repeat that. Over a third of all USD ever made, in 100 years, were made in this 1 year.

This is not fake non-existing USD (Tether) but real USD that will flow somewhere, either into stocks or into crypto. Especially since few people keep money under their mattress.

Hopefully faith in USD doesn't falter next year. There is talks of printing more.

Really stupid take
The fed is not literally "printing" money, if that were true we would see something close to 35% inflation right now, obviously
Especially since doomers and lolberts were saying the same thing in 2018 when the fed tried to tighten but got BTFO buy the pussies of the stock market and had to reverse that decision AND last year when they did the same thing but bigger

The fed does not literally print money, it just puts money in the "bank accounts" of the big banks known as the primary dealers
These accounts can basically be set at infinity but they won't cause any inflation until the primary dealers actually use some of that liquidity in financial markets, which then may leak out into the real economy
If the primary dealers don't do that, then there's no inflation

Similarly the banks can offload their shitty worthless assets like negative real yielding bonds to the Fed's balance sheet in that money is effectively taken out of the financial markets, only to build up on the Fed's balance sheet where it will one day cause inflation if and only if the Fed can't pay it's liabilities in some way or basically becomes insolvent, which is likely on the timeframe of several years away as opposed to next year
>>24994450
the way for the govt to cause inflation directly is by spending up the debt, which it did do to the tune of a couple trillion worth this past year, and will likely do in the future but not to collapse levels

bro. listen to yourself. real estate and stonks are climbing higher and higher while wages for most are barely trailing above the meme CPI. wealth inequality is at least as bad as in the guilded age.
the fed is in an eternal cycle where they have to keep expanding the balance sheet so institutional bagholders don't get fucked. all the while the gov keeps misallocating resources and spending like they have infinite money (which they have). once the debt bubble pops and interest rates rise beyond the fed's control - which is only a question of time - all the unprofitable companies propped up by cheap debt will falter.

or you can have eternal limbo and decline like japan has had for 3 decades and counting in case you prefer that approach.

Perhaps seeing it in a chart will help: https://fred.stlouisfed.org/series/M1

If this was any other country but the United States of America I would exit their stock market ASAP because it certainly looks like hyper inflation.

However, just because it has happened in the past doesn't necessarily mean it will happen now, especially since it's the "world currency". And especially since it's a digital age.

Looking at the chart is still worrisome though.

Youre missing the point, halfwit. With natural scale Its impossible to visualize a massive history of price movement where there are always similar relative percentage changes but which span many different magnitudes of absolute price change. A x10 rally when btc is $1 results in a far different absolute increase in value than when btc goes x10 from $1000. Log scale puts that long price history into a similar scale to put exponential growth into perspective.... otherwise it just looks like a flat line that goes parabolic into a scary vertical. Any project that keeps growing for long enough will look like that at natural scale, and also require a log scale to make sense of that growth
