I made a fortune on eth in 2017 and made bank on it over the summer.
But the defi bubble accomplished nothing and only proved ethereum cannot handle serious transaction volume after all these years. Not even a functional L2.
The beacon chain contract was all risk and no reward.

In the larger picture all of the alts had a short term bounce. Most of them simply made a lower high before continuing on to a lower low.
