24983924 No.24983924 [Reply] [Original]

I found a way to reliably arbitrage a 1-3% daily return (crypto-fiat inefficiency).
Currently I can only do it with 10k as I don't have more liquidity. The pairs would allow for 200-300k of daily arbitrage without moving the markets.
Any tips on how to find an investor who would give me 250k to do near zero risk arbitrage following a strict protocol? That's an easy 2.5-7.5k per day without having to do degenerate gambling.
Would a bank do this or do they still hate crypto?

The only risks involved are the time between buying and selling on the same exchange, which can be done in milliseconds with a bot (no crypto transfer required) and around 2-3 hours of major fiat pairs slippage (major fiat pairs almost never move >0.5% in a day, less so in 2-3h).

Obviously I won't name pairs or explain how to do it. Just wondering how to approach an investor for such an idea and where to find one.

Could you get a business line of credit with a 0% APR intro period and just try to turn this over as much as you can?

Anyone with the money that knows what you're talking about may cut you out of the picture.

I don't think anyone would provide a loan with 0% collateral?
Maybe there are crypto solutions?
Obviously I wouldn't let the person know how to do it exactly, but I'd be willing to sign that I'm assuming 100% of the risk in case of any losses (following a strict protocol the chance of losing money with this idea is basically 0, if fiat pairs move a lot (>0.5%), that would just net me 500 bucks less, but still a win.
Major fiat pairs rarely move more than 0.5% in a given day.

It's good but I don't know how this window of opportunity will last, it will take at least 100 days for it to get interesting through compound interest, given that the fees will eat a good chunk in the beginning.

Why did you make this thread again?

Don't be a retard and leverage money you don't have. You never know when that opportunity is gonna dry up or something goes bump in the night. Take the money you have and do it and just compound your gains. Write a bot script if you want to automate it and make it worth your time.

It would be a credit line, like a credit card. Maybe no collateral but if you have an existing income and a decent history already you could probably get access to 5 figures worth of credit?

The catch is that you have month to month payment (so a low/0% internest promo is nice to do monthly payments on) and that you will get absolutely rekt on interest and fees if you botch lol

Certain market conditions make people that live in region, where said market conditions apply, want to pay a premium instead of going through the bullshit. This is the arbitrage traders kick in ("the invisible hand"). Arbitrage opportunities are highly guarded secrets, because if they're not, they're no moe.

Talking about fiat pair arbitrage with crypto inefficiencies
>>24985392
I would guess that would end badly, yes. Especially when they hear "crypto".
The opportunity is such, that crypto exposure would be limited to milliseconds, fiat/fiat pair exposure 2-3 hours (opposite of base currency). 1-3% is really good and it has been consistent for a while. Obviously no arbitrage opportunity lasts forever, so this has got to be done yesterday.

So what's your proposition then? Not do anything and let another opportunity slide? Or are you fearing your arbitrage profits will sink once more people like me get in?
Which one is it?
Using the opportunity I found, 250k would net 100% every 50 days, more than 125k/month isnt that bad.
