I'm considering putting in about £500 a week into this clean energy ETF which I'll post in the next image. ~2K a month. This ETF has been performing very reasonably each week and I expect that to continue.

Does this mean I can expect the same, if not more, gains as the graph depicts? But scaled down to 35 months rather than 35 years

8% is really good. The thing is to really make it (safely) in the stock market you need a lot of capital. Unless you get super lucky, you're probably not going to make much money in the stock market without pouring in capital . My best trade was UCO, which i bought at ~18 a share (bought some at 11 and then all-ined at like 20) and sold at 33 a share. Basically I spent like 30k to make 65k gross.
