ARM and RISC-V are the story in microprocessors for the next 10 years.
CISC based architecture is archaic in a world where memory is cheap enough to make vastly more efficient RISC based chips which can run on lower power, meaning less thermal throttling, and longer battery life.

Apple macbooks are the first major consumer grade laptops that have made the shift to ARM based chips, after ditching intel, and the Air model doesn't even have a fan, meaning there wont be dust problems either. A laptops biggest killer. This means new laptops are probably also going to live longer than older laptops did too, which will be a dampener on demand for all chips.

AMD are already in the process of developing ARM chips, although obviously behind apple who have raced ahead of everyone else.

Intel are a long way behind in this race. It's believed they will go for the RISC-V approach rather than ARM, but it will take many years for this development to play out, and in that time, AMD and Apple will have eaten their lunch big time.

I thought intel was undervalued, then I did my research, and realised the market is simply pricing in intel's decline.

Will Intel ever recover? Do they really deserve all the hatred? Why would anyone even stop me from going all in?

Get a coinbase account. Then make a coinbase pro account (same login info).
Use that to get your money on there from your bank, it's a legit exchange (coin broker) that has insurance and reports to the IRS. Major 'brokers' only have a very limited number of coins though, think if a stock broker had only the major indexes.

From here you buy one of the major coins OR you buy some ETH. This eth is a good coin (second major player) and is used to send and buy other coins when you're not on a major broker.
For a wallet I use metamask. It's a nice android app. If you use computer it's also a chrome extension. You copy the contact address on your eth wallet and use it to send ETH from coinbase to metamask. Only send a little first just in case you fuck up and past the link wrong somehow.
Once you have the ETH on metamask you can buy any coin. You go to 'browser' and from there can go to uniswap. Once you see a coin being talked about organically here, you can view it's trend on the coingecko website. This website also has a contract address for each coin.
On uniswap past that address when you're buying a coin, its name and logo should appear. You buy it with your ETH you sent from coinbase and you're all set.

If you have any questions ask.
It sounds a little complicated but once you do it once it's very easy. It takes maybe an extra ounce of effort than stocks once you get it all installed.

For picks I like GRT, PRQ and ETH. I might be full of shit but they have actually a use and have good fundamentals. Good luck m8.
