LOL, Opendex just killed stakeshitters. I bet they're not talking about this on the discord, I wonder why? They're live with the features that Stakenet hasn't even given a timeline for release, OUCH. got to https://boltz.exchange/

>> No.24950830

Not to mention you don't have to download and install a fucking scammy client to run your "DEX". Stakeshit devs claimed it can't be done in-browser, yet boltz and Exchange union are doing exactly that, lmao

>> No.24951423

Alright, you finally got me. Not going to let myself crash and burn with the rest of you nutters, selling my 7 nodes shortly. I see no prospects for future gains. Now, I've got to convert my xsn Slavenodes into XUD/Opendex and Boltz-Masternodes, how do I do this?

>> No.24951508

What are you talking about? Opendex has been working with Connext way longer than Stakenet has.
There's a reason why Opendex is always fudded hard by seething Stakeshitters.

nah, the xsn community doesn't really start shit with other projects. if anything, shills from every other project invade the one xsn thread that's usually up and start attacking it.
boltz has been around for awhile. all the more to them. i see this as some truly legitimate competition on L2 that should heat up into next year and continue to prove xsn had the right idea all along.
it is much more a threat for on-chain atomic swap dexs and the 3-dozen uniswap clones that still exist

Ok let’s run this down.

Bolts is submarine swaps, nothing new. It is not Lightning swaps. What’s the difference:

>Submarine swaps are onchain to offchain swaps.
>Lightning swaps are offchain to offchain.

Why is this important? Well because you still have to wait for the onchain confirmation with submarine swaps, Lightning swaps are instant and can be repeated instantly. Submarine swaps can’t and are subject to onchain fees every swap Vs Lightning swaps which aren’t if you don’t go back onchain which there is no reason too.

OpenDEX is cli at the minute so don’t have a UI, go try it for yourself and you will see how far behind they are in comparison to XSN.

>> No.24956230

>>24956204
For Boltz you can confirm the issue by trying to swap BTC-LN for LTC-LN and it will spaz out as an invalid input as it can’t do it because it’s a submarine swap.

>> No.24956291

>>24953559
>NVOICE? I NEED TO WRITE INVOICES?
Yes, if you want an lightning invoice to send to, just like on the Stakenet cex. It would be wise to learn the basics of the lightning network before using it.

>> No.24956410

>>24956291
Actually users don’t need to fuck about with invoices and shit to do swaps on Stakenet DEX. Just click swap and done, everything else is automated for them.

>> No.24956590

Just forgot to mention that prior to that, you need to become a stakenet volunteer to join the closed beta. From the crumbles that are leaking, the swap function is very unreliable. That's why it wasn't released in 2019, and it's not being released in 2020.

Buy XSN, buy BLOCK, use Boltz, I don't fucking care.
If you don't believe in DEX's you're an absolute retard.
There is clearly room in the DEX market for more than one exchange that operates similarly. Coinbase existing doesn't mean Binance doesn't absolutely rake in trading volume in the CEX market.
USA looks like they are about to megacuck crypto and the rest of the world will likely follow, so the sooner we have one or more working DEXs that are more decentralized than some shitty pegged tokens, and can operate on L2, the better.
Stakenet's DEX is getting all the attention right now but they have goals much beyond just their DEX, don't forget.
