You fucking retard. Remember when the wrolds largest short term financing market blew up overnight? No probably not because you think repo means cars. That was the start of credit expansion which started driving prices higher. You are also a Keynesian retard that thinks that all of this money printing 100% did not effect capitalization structures at corporations or alter the structure of the economy. Henlo frens,
Remember few weeks ago when i was saying the green tyranny would soon come to the mining industry to make them look like the mega-baddies?
Well today i read 2 articles from very popular (read state financed) newspapers. And both did lengthy articles to explain how mining was accounting for 10% of global carbon emission, how we have to check our privileges, how things must change using laws to tax them, blablah... The usual talmudic shit.

Wanna know the best part? In one of them they threw in this graph -pic rel-
>left column is energy cost per ton calculated in gigajoules
>middle column is worldwide carbon emission for each metal
>right column is carbon emission per ton extracted

No surprises the 3 biggest 'polluters' and energy eaters per ton, and by a wide margin, are platinum, gold and silver. Logical since they are the rarest metals, that's why they are called precious...

So obviously the (((newspapers))) called for new legislations -read taxes- for precious metals.
The agenda is unfolding, they aren't only coming after crypto, we are next. So you better already have your stack, or hurry the fuck up to buy it, because retarded shit like 70% VAT on purchase will come sooner than you think. Of course it will labelled "eco tax to save the planet and the children uwu".

ha thats rich seeing as the mining sector in Canada and the US is trying to move to zero emission equipment as fast as possible to save on material costs. EV machinery requires on average a quarter less down time than conventional machines. It also cuts down on noise related injuries to crews especially in underground projects. Typical that the "news" would suddenly focus on miners like this when the trends been to EV and low carbon for the past decade.

I want to add that, even though i'm extremely bullish on miners, if the plat/Au/Ag miners get hammered with new regulations, it could spoop away the institutional investors who would otherwise be interested when SHTF (which is very soon, and programmed).
We all know the true reason behind the ecologic farce : the central bankers want to keep their worthless fiat the only dominant tool and will try to shut down any other alternatives existing to dodge inflation. The advantage we have over shitcoins is our best bet going forward : it's way easier to track down and tax shitcoins' transactions than PMs.

It has to continue to expand because the fed has to continue to expand. earnings yields on equities will continue to go down, making their risk adjusted return lower and lower (to the extent anyone actually cares about that), while creating more demand for bullion. This isn't even talking about hyperinflation next year or whatever. Barring the US doing a political U turn (unlikely considering I can only name 1 balanced budget congressman) Basel 3 is going to lead to more international institutions trading treasuries for gold. I'm all in pms right now because I think I can make a risk free ~8% annual return over the next decade even with high hedging costs. More people are going to do that.

>>24942327
>mining was accounting for 10% of global carbon emission
Retards don't even understand how low that is. Think about it: anything that can't be grown has to be mined/drilled. Everything that exists other than foraged shit. 10% is low. Although obviously the real damage is runoff from mines and what not.

However, could this be them frontrunning their inability to manipulate PM prices any longer, knowing that the huge price increase is inevitable due to macro factors, and also knowing that the manipulated short position is going to need to cover as well which will be nitrous to our rocket fuel.

You're at the second peak of the Lassonde curve now, literally. It all depends on exploration success and the price of gold. i am expecting a bit more of a dip as Pure Gold shifts into production phase. This is normal with new projects switching from explorer to producing mine, than it will slowly climb in value to a stable price as gold is poured. The big brain idea is that gold is a bet on the existence and growth of wealth. The more wealth there is, the larger the surplus everyone has. The larger the surplus is, the more they spend on vanity ornamentation. If there is less wealth gold is automatically less valuable. Difference is that rocks can't default.

I'm starting to think that bitcoin maxis have subconsciously figured this out and are replacing wealth with "technical knowledge" to cover this.

Surprised that there isn't more discussion about Vangold. Silver anon brought them up here a few months ago. The stock is halted because they just bought a mine (El Cubo) from Endeavour Silver for $15 million, which was worth $200 million in 2012. The deal was skilfully made with almost no dilution. The mine includes a mill, so Vangold is now a producer. 30 million market cap means that it's trading at only 1x projected cash flow. People are now saying that $5 seems like a reasonable near-term target for the stock. If they find the Veta Madre, even higher.

>for a primary gold mine to be profitable to mine you need ore (on average) of 15-25 gpt Au
Interesting, I'd heard that the rock at the bottom of the Grand Canyon contains 0.5 gpt. I knew it was too low grade to mine back when they tried in the 19th Century, but I wondered how that stacked up to modern gold mines.

I am touched that you would take the time and effort to write a blogpost to respond to me.
>I agree that we ought to be picky for bull case links, but picky based off of what? Quality of content, which I'm arguing FOR, or arbitrary factors, like you guys are arguing for?
You claim to care about quality, why no links to Schiff and Maloney? Why only links to the tranny?
There are plenty of bull cases just as good if not better than Lyn Alden's that have the added bonus of not being presented by a tranny.

He is right as gold has a pullback to 1700s.
I don't remember him calling gold to have a pullback to 1400s. Maybe 1500-1700s.

His take on gold is that it has bottomed already and will go up explosively in December.

Also, his price predictions come from TA, and I never consider TA seriously at all.

I usually read his articles on Sprott Money for the fundamentals only, which is always spot on, and skip the TA portion.

Melt site is pretty much unprepped and torch is supposed to be suited for "welding", but i have my doubts and should have probability grabbed a better one... Getting the flame hot enough for glazing was a bit difficult. I figure I can make a makeshift kiln setup, but I'm not sure how to protect the torch and canister because they're a bit shit. I'm way too late but I honestly underestimated Vangold. They've been incredibly fast, efficient and most importantly transparent for shareholders. Don't know about KS but SSE and BHS are risky to hold. Vangold definitely is a winner.

Brady was shaking people out in May, before silver had got over $18, or gold over $1750. He bans everybody who disagrees with him, so you get a false picture of nothing but accolades when you read his Twitter feed. He even blocked Peter Spina. For him to call for re-entering into gold at $1860 and silver at $26 is not particularly impressive. He also shorted gold in 2018, and shook people out of their positions then too. The fact that gold and silver have had such hard corrections has vindicated him to some degree, but the sycophants praising him for his prescience are completely mistaken. He has a lot of good things to say, and has a very acute mind, but take it all with a grain of salt.

Lightning creeks getting a mechanical permit for test holes, a buddy is planning to option that claim for a season to test his washplant out on. My hard rock ground by Bell 2, where I have my tiny drilling program is going to be in the fall again and is all set and ready to go too so long as covid bs doesnt keep going. Maloney i also agree with, but some people find his love for bitcoin distasteful here. I disagree and hold both assets. There are links to real vision as well which have been removed. I think the best links ought to be short and precise and hard hitting, which is why the Lyn Alden one is fantastic as it's in text as well and can be read in 5 mins. He shorted PMs and made 500% in less than 24 hours because he knows bullion banks are going to manipulate it. He explained it here:

I unfollowed Peter Speena because unlike David Brady and Rick Rule that can be short term bearish and explains very well why, Peter Speena is always bullish and there is also not much to learn from him, unlike Peter Schiff.

He is recently clueless about M1. I have explained many times why M1 doesn't indicate anything.

At Lightning Creek the plan is my mates going to dig me 6 25mx25m test holes to look for an ancient channel, and in exchange he keeps any gold he finds. Its a win for me because I get the work hours on the claim and my mates setting up the bond for the permit on his dime.

Out at Bell 2 I am going to be using a Boils X Ray drill, towed on a sled by a small bulldozer. I am going to probably have small team with me too out there. Were only planning three holes there right now, thats all I could afford on the exploration permit for now, but if we can prove up the ground than I ll be able to option it off without issue.

Gotta agree the perma bulls are useless once you're bullish Gold. It's why if you hear Schiff once you've pretty much heard him every time. He makes real convincing arguments against fiat though so he's a great listen for anyone new, but his gold bull thesis isn't nuanced or precise, and if you listened to him in 11 you would've rode gold all the way up and all the way down again, essentially dead money for years.

hey Pan Man, I was hoping to get your input on what you think is going to happen with VALE after the collapse today killed a worker
as I understand it, the mining industry sees 15,000 deaths a year in accidents - is it just "comes with the territory"
or do you think it will cause a big sell-off?
In your experience, after a mine has an accident like this, how long does it take for the stock to recover (I get that it depends on the size / scope of the accident - as far as I can tell, it was an accident in the offloading area, not in the mine itself, and only affected 1 person)

ah fuck another collapse, thats not good at all for anything in the industry. Worse still its that same site that caved in in 2019, that will not look good for share holders or media at all. Vale was already in trouble in Brazil for "hazardous labor" at their operations, this will make things all the more difficult. It wont cause a sell off unless the Brazilians shut Vales sites down for safe evaluation. Most companies dont see a stock drop unless it shuts a project down for an extended period. I dont know what Brazils regulations are pertaining to something like this, but we will likely find out shortly.

The modern Mining sector has done a massive amount of work to make projects around the world safer, but even still often you cant stop things from happening. It does "come with the territory" but its not something taken lightly at all.

What people don't understand is that money must be what nations will take in exchange for their wealth. If every nation in the world was happy to give away its wealth for sea-shells, then sea-shells would become money. But nations would never do such a thing. Post-fiat, they will demand something of intrinsic economic value as money, gold and silver. No nation will sell copper or zinc or manufactured goods for Bitcoin, therefore, post-fiat, Bitcoin simply has no purpose. The dollar, like Bitcoin, is also intrinsically worthless, but nations have accepted that only because of two reasons, first, the 1971 rug-pull, a historical anomaly which is never going to repeat itself, and second, the threat of American military invasion, a thing which poses no threat to China and Russia now that America's manufacturing base is gone.

Ill have to keep an eye out for that because thats the inpression i got as well. I dont have enough experience to know what will happen at that time. Ive only been investing for six months now and ive learned a lot but I still cant say for sure if a buy out is a good thing or a bad thing as a shareholder....

The biggest lesson ive learned from this thread today is the lassonde curve. I bought into puregold after they announced production this week and instantly took a 5% hit. I also bought kinross last week who is a producer and took a hit on that as well, which was honestly surprising because they got a TON of mainstream media exposure last week. Last time i take advice from my normie boss on stock picks. Feels like I got kicked in the balls. I'll maybe have to ride it out and see. I guess my knowledge base point is really only focused on explorers and i have a lot of learning to do when it comes to producers. I'm going in 2021 for a 75% physical PM, 13% silver miner, 12% uranium miner. I'll raise miner % in 2022. Absolutely, I remember considering buying puts on banks back in the summer when Alasdair was warning about a cascading banking crisis/failure but it's one thing to recognize precarious fundamentals and entirely another to anticipate all the measures taken by the establishment to mitigate/delay and get the timing right.

No one can see the future so I don't begrudge individuals for trying to ring the alarm bells. People making trades based off of youtube videos and articles are solely responsible for not taking things in context and being premature ejaculatory retards.

Honestly, if you want to stack copper they don't have to be nice bullion type rounds, just buy a bunch of thick copper wire, strip it, melt it down into a bar and then you can melt it into little blobs of copper roughly the same size, but small enough that they probably wouldn't be able to be filled with another less rare metal. You could probably barter with something like that and it would be much cheaper than the premiums from buying nice looking copper bullion.

Best way to get copper is to find pennies minted before 1982. Half of the pennies minted in 1982 are pure copper, so you have to weigh them.

If you can get boxes of turned in pennies from banks, you can sort through them. At that rate, $1.51 pennies will be a pound of copper. Much better price than $3 a pound spot. Buying copper is outrageous due to premiums so it’s best to find it elsewhere. You can buy copper pennies from people, the point being at some point it will be legal to melt down pennies in the same way it became legal to melt old silver coins. Making it legal to melt copper pennies will collapse the price I imagine, which could harm the mining business in the short term.

>How did you guys turn into this big of fags?
This is what happens when you have incompetent and corrupt central banks doing everything they can for over a decade to create another massive asset bubble. They have now got their bubble in everything. That's why you're seeing things like cryptocurrencies going wild; US stock prices reaching valuations exceeding 1929 and, in some aspects, exceeding the dot-com bubble; and you're even seeing a bubble in collectibles such as sports cards. When a lot of things seem to skyrocket in price, far beyond what most people historically understand those things to be worth, the feeling of FOMO becomes intense and almost unbearable. Those who have never fully participated a mania cycle probably will not understand what happens to society. More and more people will turn into faggots until this bubble bursts at which point a new set of faggots will emerge. Depending on how today's faggots are positioned, they will either become normal again or they'll transform into insufferable faggots.
