Do you use ethereum apps? If so, then you already use Graph every single day.Uniswap? Aave? Yearn? Sushi? Compound? Whatever it is, chances are it uses the Graph in some way or another. Graph is essential infrastructure for ethereum apps, much like Chainlink and Ethereum itself. In july they were processing 60 MILLION queries a day, and the growth rate is exponential so that's probably a lot higher now, I'm guessing 100 million plus. Every single ethereum app pays Graph for their data. Now here's the best part. Graph is in the process of decentralising, which was the purpose of this sale + mainnet. Indexers and curators (people who are providing data to projects like Uniswap) will now need to buy GRT and stake it. Projects like Uniswap will now need to buy GRT to pay for queries. And people who do neither of the above can delegate their GRT, staking it with an indexer and earning passive income.Don't make the mistake of thinking, this has pumped already. I am too late. This is unironically the only project that has come close to link, in terms of scaleability and broadness of use case. Not buying this here is like not buying Link after it pumped from $0.11 to $0.4

After doing some digging into graph i stumled into something. there is in fact at least one private group that is using the code storage vulnerability to transfer out GRT from hardware wallets.>What is this exploit? There's a security layer in Graph's source code that deals with storage ticks. Basically, even in cold storage where they're untouched, there's a cache protocol that will occasionally ping public wallet addresses to verify their contents. Unfortunately, GRT has a slightly different version of this protocol in order to make micro-pings for staking purposes. Most staking rewards are going to be really small transfers, so the grt devs lowered the tick rate for these pings. However, if you're using a hardware wallet, your storage is operating at the NORMAL tick rate, creating a cache gap where someone can use an SLQ% injection to gain access to your wallet. There's already been many posts of Anons opening up their wallets to find all their tokens transferred out to mysterious addresses, losing tens if not hundreds of thousands of dollars.>Does this affect other tokens in my hardware wallet? No, as this isn't a vulnerability with the wallet so much as Graph specifically. Other tokens, even on wallets that have been affected by the exploit, are safe.>I haven't touch my wallet in years! Can someone really randomly gain access and steal my GRT?Sadly, yes. This affects PUBLIC addresses, and these are most likely being chosen at random.>I have my GRT on a hardware wallet! What do I do?Either transfer them to a paper wallet (safest), an exchange, or trade for fiat.>Can this be patched?Yes, but it will take time. This isn't something that can be done in one week, as it's tied to the security layers focused on staking. These have to be rewritten very cautiously, else other major functions of the GRT source code can break.I'll stick around to answer any other questions you guys might have

The javascript has been hacked and now all Graph nodes are being affected, meaning they will go offline one by one.But here's the real trick; every graph that goes offline first has to be validated by other graphs, Thus the first graph won't go offline until EVERY SINGLE GRAPH has verified it actually has gone offlineGRT will be in an infinite javascript loop. Maybe if you're a programmer you will recognize FOR and WHILE loops. Well.. This is a FOR loop that NEVER ends. The price will TANK to at least $0.01. Maybe even lower when the graphs are actually verified being offline.Yaniv is now busy setting up extra graphs to undo this process. Called contra-hacking. He has injected some GO-language code, pseudo-offline code, into the GRT network. This means graphs will appear the be online, while they are struggling to go offline, but in the meantime they cant because it isnt verified yet. Neat trick if you ask me, but it wont last long before the other graphs will know whats really going on.

>>24939595you mad? that's an insane amount
I have 250 of them. Bought at 14 cents. Was going to buy more, and have been waiting for it to dip below 20 cents again.....but it just keeps going up.Surely it's going to dip soon. This is what fucking UNI did before it dropped like a rock and stayed there.
WHAT WAS THAT
>>24939576I see GRT as more predictable in a way. It’s an already established facility that the market is trying to determine value for I.e. consolidating around an existing position. Potential for growth in GRT usage is there b7t likely to be a slow and steady increase as more projects use it.INJ on the other hand is more a on the (near) future. If adoption is strong early on we could see it’s value increase a lot in a short period of time. If adoption is meh it will just fade away. All that and still not sure whether it’s worth it.
Do I use ethereum apps? NoUniswap? Aave? Yearn? Sushi? Compound? What are these shitcoins? Graph is not an essential infrastructure for ethereum apps, much like Chainlink (another shitcoin) and Ethereum itself. So why would I use it?In july they/them were processing 6 GORILLON penises a day, and the growth rate is exponential so that's probably a lot higher now, they're guessing 600 GORILLONS plus. Every single ethereum app pays Graph users for their penises. Now here's the worst part. Graph is in the process of centralizing, which was not the purpose of this sale + mainnet. Indexers and janitors (people who are providing data to projects like Uniswap FOR FREE) will now need to take HRT and fake it. Projects like Uniswap never needed to buy HRT to pay for their cummies. And people who read all of the above can delegate their HRT, steaking it on a grill and enjoying a good meal. You are right for thinking that she was pumped already. YOU are too late. This is literally the only project that cannot be farther from LINK, in terms of scaleability and broadness of use case. Not buying this here is like not buying Link after it pumped from $5 to $19, i.e not being a monkey buying tops.
I have 88k, I want to accumulate more right now but I feel like a dump is coming soon
Just look at this market structure, jesus
>>24939708I was waiting for sub20c to buy more but ended up grabbing extras at 22c because it didn't drop lower
>>24934805Yeah XRP and it's true
>>24939468Right. I initially thought this would open at x30 (1$), then dump and let us fill our bags. But we got the deal of the century, those who bought the dip at 0.12$ consider yourself incredibley lucky, Such scenario shouldn't even be possible.
>>24939608I feel that anon, most people here have made like 10-100x their initial and aren't scared to gamble now, but it's what you have to do still if you're starting sadly. Wait for a pullback if you can then go all in, this is it.
Coinbase folks: Don't forget to check the quiz shit. Just got through the waiting room for $3 of GRT. Yeah just 3 bucks but better than nothing.
>>24939766Most of my small stack was bout at 10 cents just because that's when I checked binance, I'm about to buy more at these prices though, I want 200k
>>24939719well INJ has a lot of testers and interest and is truly revolutionary and has been in the making for years and is backed by the big players and has an outstanding team + derivatives trading and many fancy cool things and steroid tokenomics, so yeah I can see this rise quickly, Graph is growing rapidly, the scope is tremendous and there is interest from all the big players, all in all if you take into account the market cap, I think INJ and GRT are both equal opportunities.

>>24940010thanks, yeah we both love the same projects, some other good ones as well, I am in it for the fun and I think it's interesting but who knows where this will end. Succes often comes from doing things that are fun and naturally appealing to the character/personality type.

let's be conservative and value the project at the same mcap as link. That gives us an estimate of $5b currently.Taking into account total supply of 10bil tokens, this prices the token at .50 once total supply is distributed. This will probably happen in a month max, at which point the coin should have rode past .50 multiple times as the supply/price fluctuates due to realised value not matching up to distributed supply.it's not too late, fudders. You can still hit an easy 2x.

I only got a 3.5k stack. Got in around .10c, might be too late to put in more.
Crabbing for a bit to cool off before pumping again
>>24941868Like other anon replied to you with, lucky for this to be your first dive in crypto. 90% of the time is pump and dumps. This level of hype/pumpamentals is very rare. Just look at the trading volume and the exchanges it got listed on on day ONE. There will be a pullback, there always is. Always take some profits, and always keep some in the game (for good coins at least anyway, and this is looking like it is). Good luck anon and welcome to crypto
