i know the past doesn't always repeat, but if you take a look at 2017 btc vs ltc charts, you can see ltc's spike happened a little later than bitcoin's. i think we have a ways to go up.

I think that happened in part because the Bitcoin network was clogged and people needed another way of transferring funds between exchanges to gamble on shitcoins, back then only BTC and LTC were supported
