I have the vast majority of my wealth in Canadian dollars and our disaster of a government is printing money like it's candy. Where should I move it to protect myself from an impending economic decline? Stocks? (Seems bafflingly high right now, what if we're in a bubble?) Bonds? Precious metal? Some foreign currency?
My initial plan was just pretty much all in on stonks (with a little bit in gold and crypto).
Was planning:
22% / 45% / 33% - Canada / US / International
in market-cap weighted ETFs. Thoughts?
Should I add any bonds?

Guide me anons.

If this rally holds till the morning, those will probably be ITM at open. Definitely trim some to secure profits. Bitcoin just hit another ATH a few minutes ago. I do foresee a correction coming at some point, but I don't know when. IV crush could also kill options premium whenever it does happen. That being said, over 30% of portfolio is weighted in MARA shares and calls. When I bought them a month ago, they were only 10% weighted...

simply beautiful, market cap weightted ETFs are the way to go. Maximum profits, minimum efforts.
I would say invest as much into that portfolio as you are comfortable with. Ideally it's 100% but if you find yourself stressing, feeling insecure, then add bonds. Its all about your individual risk tolerance. Invest as much as you can into the market without having to worry about it.

Depends on when you mean by "soon". End of year? Probably not. End of 2021? Most definitely. On average MARA mines roughly 900 btc per day. At current prices, if they were to sell them all each day they would be making 20 million PER DAY at CURRENT PRICES. There has been some institutional interest over the last month that you can see if you've been paying attention to those schizo dark pool images I post here frequently. Interest has vastly increased today, pic very much related. Set your sell targets now and don't get greedy. It doesn't hurt to take profits along the way. We're going to make it.

Just a big think but maybe the market is rising because the market sees BTC rising and institutions assume it's a good time to pump.

Up until now BTC has merely followed the market, but maybe the market is now following BTC. Turnabout is fair play.

Farmland has outperformed stocks and bonds over the last four decades coupled with expected long term growth in demand / supply suggest this trend will continue. Despite risks from bad years it's an excellent source of cash flow.

They unironically are not making any more land.

As a retail investor chances are you have no realistic way to expose yourself to this asset class without taking on the massive risk of owning farmland or without having a large amount of capital. There's only two REITs offering farmland exposure.

Warren Buffet purchased a large farm in 1996. Michael Burry also owns a large amount of farmland.

I'm heavy in stocks. This game is about risk and yield. Bonds have low yields, and real returns due to inflation are negative. So money moves to other asset classes, combined with nearly unlimited low interest liquidity, it's no wonder all the money has moved into stocks. Stocks are inflation hedged, as the price of the stock inflates with the currency( buying power lowers, it cost more $ purchase the stock, ie stock price rises ). I like US stocks for growth, and TSX for dividends ( banks, oil pipelines, Insurance companies, Telcos All offer yields around 5% ) If its Gold, i prefer physical. Paper is paper, nothing is backing GLD or other indexes. Other assets are real estate, fine art( keeps its value over time, why do you think rich people collect this shit? it's like gold. only the govt doesn't steal it. ). I Seperate my portfolio into 3 categories, Income assets/ growth assets / Stable protective assets and cash. currently i'm Heavy in stocks, both canada and US aren't raising interest rates until 2023. Free money.

Let's not go that far. Just because there is no room full of people who guide it, doesn't mean there is no conspiracy. Essentially every player is co conspirator, because everyone understands the understandability of the system (to whatever degree we can), yet everyone keeps participating

You can beat the market. People to it every day. It just typically takes a sufficiently large enough barrier to entry (work) that most people are better off using an indexing strategy. Good stock pickers are the only investor class that can beat the market. But it requires DD. Now, in todays market environment, all you really need is a rough understanding to sufficient to not buy stupid shit and a long enough time horizon to say, this company will be more valuable in 5 years, then it is today.

I bought bitcoin when it was $180 like a decade ago. Always heard that since it broke the 5K mark. The trick is to hold indefinitely desu

guys, just buy uber. make it a core holding of your portfolio. before 2030 this company will have a AAA credit rating and a 1trillion+ valuation. this is literally the easiest home run on the market right now, just sitting on a tee for you with a sub 100B valuation, 12B in revenues and a 50% growth rate with no sign of deceleration. BofA just upped their price target to 58, look at all the buy ratings on this stock. it's. so. easy.
