Because of the previous bear market, all gold/silver related etfs are basically composed of only majors including in their "junior" versions.
Professionally managed just takes in fees when you can just buy the holdings of those major etfs anyway since most of them are composed in a similar fashion.

Balance of trade is how much goods a country exports vs. how much it imports. If you import a lot of goods then at the same time you "export" a lot of money (to buy those goods, obviously). The whole world wants US dollars because they need it to buy oil, therefore the US has to export a lot of dollars or else other countries don't have enough dollars to buy oil with. You're correct about lazy blacks, but you don't realize that USPS barely even handles mail at all. The list of USPS contractors that ACTUALLY fly/truck/unload/load the mail is really long. I work for one of them and all of them have different standards. The problem is that every single one of us are required to join a postal worker's union, which encourages everyone to be extremely lazy and get away with as little work as possible. One of my black co workers that no longer works with us told me, upon hearing about the tardiness policy said
"Sheeeit mane, so I can come in late like, every other week and be aight."
Also, the shop steward at our mail ramp is literally the laziest worker on the premises. He's a 6ft + tall black guy that's ripped, but takes like 3-5 breaks during his shift, which is only 4 hrs long.
So the issue isn't USPS employees, it's the contractors' employees, all of which have different hiring standards (which are extremely low across the board due to the unskilled labor the job requires), plus the fact that all the employees of those contractors are made members of the postal workers' union, which guarantees their job security if they're lazy and poor workers.
The USPS representative that stays at our ramp is literally the hardest worker on the ramp and works like he just did an 8 ball of coke, moving containers around and making phone calls to make sure everything goes smoothly
You're right that there's not a larger amount of mail coming. We get paperwork with the total mail weight each night, and it has not surpassed anything we've experienced earlier in the year. The problem is that we get crazy time frames. Mail coming in extremely late, extremely early, shortages of mail containers, resulting in late sorts, resulting in mail having to sit overnight

Gold is the safest inflation hedge in the world while silver is a bit of a speculative buy but could potentially boom harder than ever. Uranium is capital intensive and also highly regulated/protected. It isn't that there aren't any resources out there (there is a fuckton in the earth's crust which is where Radon comes from) but the prices have been too low for too long for a lot of them to remain solvent.
Basically you have only a few producers that could meet demand and a handful of possible juniors that could come online if there was a shortage. It is remarkably clean for a commodity cycle based play.

The problem with junk silver is LCS and bullion dealers never want to buy it for more than 90-95% of spot or around there. So this year you're buying junk silver with unprecedented premiums and still selling for less than spot.

Thanks a lot anon, you do some fine work too and are way better at the nitty-gritties and numbers than I am. When it comes to geology i'm retarded as well.

My strategy is that I have a circle of experts (below) I follow and trust, and when names appear and especially when they appear more than once I'll take looks at the companies, management, stories, market sentiment, newsflow, geology, geography etc. Once that`s all done I keep tabs on them and have to make my own decision eventually whether or not it`s a good buy. It's a top down styled approach, and there aren't that many really really good companies out there so eventually you start to know a lot of them and their stories pretty well.

I spend quite some time looking at the charts of companies as well using really basic indicators like Fibonaccis and RSI, and basic patterns like flags and cups. It helps that I have a "sitfolio" style portfolio with about 50 PM miners and 10 U miners. It's not a style for everyone though but it works well for me and mitigates risk tailored to my and my strategies' specific weaknesses. I hold a full-time blue collar job as well so I don`t actually have that much time, but I squeeze in any research I can, like listening to company interviews in the shower, listening to Macro in the car, etc.

Huh, I was sure you'd be good at the numbers too. Wasn't it you who were the only one here who had ever heard of Moneta Porcupine (before I brought it up a few days ago)? Ah I see. My style is a little bit different. I don't really like following others but I follow discussions and NRs and if something catches my eye I might prioritize researching that something. I like doing my own research the "bottom up" way and after doing my DD I like looking at what's being talked about in more detail to see if I've missed something or to reflect my own opinion of the company with the opinions of others. So I guess we have opposite strategies in a way. Not too big on following a lot of different sources either like you seem to do (that's an impressive list you've gathered there!), NRs, ceo.ca, 4chan and sometimes youtube and twitter are good enough for me.

As for charts, I'm not much of a TA guy either. I just draw some quick imaginary lines in my head and look at the shape of the chart, see if it looks oversold or very volatile or look at previous highs and try to find a resistance to break, that kind of stuff. 60 miners is an impressive list, I would want to have more than my current 10 holdings too but my bank account is slowing me down too much. Being poor limits my options so I really have to weigh these companies against each other. Would love to have more companies though, was about to get BRC last week but had to pivot for ME and I'm glad I did, soon I'll be up 100% already. I'm very heavily in gold miners too and would like to have Ag/base metals/U stonks too but I still don't have enough Au miners.

This summer was outright glorious , I built some nice wealth moving money from one flag setup to another as the juniors popped off one by one. Yeah you made a mistake in selling that anon, ME was undervalued to begin with and they tripled their resource estimate last Thursday. That's when I noticed the company and quickly bought in at 0.2, and yesterday sold 100 PGM to add 1k ME. Now sitting fairly comfortably at 3k shares but I'm honestly expecting 0.4 by end of week. It's a big rerating going on, people are noticing the company and the share only has a measly 16% in retail float.
I say if it somehow dips to 0.3, buy back in. This one is a keeper

That's interesting. I'll have to start messing around with MA's, RSI's and Fibonaccis too. I only started investing in miners in October, really missed out on the March bargain bin deals as well as the run up but I've been pretty comfy buying cheapies the last few weeks at least. By the by, take a look at Lion One. There's a huge cyclone hitting Fiji this week and share price might tank even lower than it is currently. They could possibly have 10-20Moz Au in their alkaline deposit and they'll begin drilling underground in January when two new UG drills arrive. With their current resources they're overvalued -- but if they have 10Moz Au, they're even more undervalued than Moneta. So that's a fun long term speculative play to keep in mind.

According to the floor salesman, there's a small propane canister run due to homelessness. I'm more tempted to believe it's just a manufacturing shortage, but who knows.
