There is ZERO demand. Zero. Matic already has Plasma and a better version of it. ZK rollup on loopring allows for everything OMG essentially wanted (layer 2 transfers that are low cost with Ethereum based security), plus a dex. No idea why this project hasn't gone to zero or gone down significantly in value.

Pretty sure Tether was supposed to be on OMG, but it doesn't make any sense. The only way plasma makes sense is for payments (no one ever pays with crypto ever) or maybe exchanges moving assets between each other (This is also a slim usecase, exchanges don't move assets that often and could usually just move things in bulk during a few tx).

The exit time makes plasma very unappealing. ZK rollup basically has a fast exit time and you still are using eth for security. I think its unironically over for plasma in the near future. Jun is smart to have gotten out.
