Going to a LCS for the first time later today.

I want to make some good local relationships but also want to try out some of the others to see who's the best. There's a few others I want to visit but this one is first up and after talking on the phone setting up an appointment they seem like nice ppl, a husband and wife running a small store.

Thanks, the dime in that pic is the specific one that got me into stacking. I've found a few silver dimes since, but they're all heavily tarnished.
As a kid I always noticed that it was impossible to find dimes and quarters older than 1965, which I thought was due to a design change until I saw a TV show from the late 50s that showed a man holding a quarter that looked exactly like modern ones. I probably would've never cared to find the answer to this until I accidently found the wikipedia page on the Coinage act of 1964 and even then I was indifferent to the removal of silver until I found that dime.

Copper's been on a strong run the past few months just when I was looking to take a fairly large position in BHP. I ended up having to hold my nose and buy up in a much, much smaller position. It's difficult to know what's real: The rising price of copper suggests that there will be strong demand and potentially inflation. However, economic indicators don't look good at all. Makes me wonder if the bubble is starting to spread into things that are hated: energy stocks, financials, mining companies, etc.

Those interested in copper mining companies should take a look at BHP. It is a large, established mining company headquartered in Australia and the stock pays (or paid before the recent 50% run-up) a pretty strong dividend.

Congratulations. I've been watching copper for years now but the economic data all indicated that it shouldn't have taken off as it did these past few months. Until this recent run-up, copper was inexpensive and the well-run copper mining companies were also kind of inexpensive.

>>24806977
That's usually a pretty bad idea if you think that the market is over-extended. If copper crashes back down to $2/lb or so, the crappier copper mining companies typically get hit much harder than the large, established miners. This is true for pretty any mining company. In general, you should only sell off a winner and go into a smaller player in a rising market and if your due diligence indicates that the more junior miner has actually got good sites and good operations management.

Exactly! But when you've a 3x and you want to take profits you don't have to sell everything, you could even just sell 1/3 and keep most of your position too. A lot of options to choose from

I know it's a bit schizo tier, but few days ago i was in a /x/ thread about divination for 2021. And 2 different psychics saw silver mooning pretty damn hard in their vision, among others (grim) things.
Idk what it's worth, probably not much, but it's rare to have 2 dudes have the same vision, especially on a board totally uninterested by 'material' things, there is no one to shill over silver there.
Sadly there wasn't much more details about it, remote viewing / divination is far from an exact science.
But i thought it was worth keeping the /pmg/bros posted about this oddity.

>/x/ thread about divination for 2021. And 2 different psychics saw silver mooning pretty damn hard in their vision, among others (grim) things.

How do I find this thread? If the thread can't be located, what grim things did they see? I've found myself becoming much more open to "schizo" interpretations and viewpoints with everything that's gone on this year. Even been feeling strange spiritual stirrings in my soul or preconscious/subconscious that seem to be calling me to God, something I've never felt before.

For what little it's worth, my silver almost seems to communicate to me when I hold it now. It's hard to explain but it exudes a beautiful, wholesome and comforting energy, it almost brings tears to my eyes sometimes and makes me feel pretty ridiculous, lol.

Impressive. Very nice. I hold shares of this in my IRA. I'm not really selling until peak bull, and seeing how we literally just are reversing from a bear market, should be awhile. Just hold onto those, anon. Unironically you should:

Are there other Uranium stocks you're watching that are still pretty cheap?

Another good year with fast melting snow and i am sure they can get more drilling done out there. pmg bros, I really hope that we see the great depression collapse that would be caused by adopting honest financing. All of this hyperinflation shit is 10x more psychologically/sociologically toxic. People would be happier barely surving for 3 years working manual labor in the US than they would be if another 30% of the economy gets taken up by corporate bureaucrats and government leeches. Those jobs are more toxic for the people in them than they are for the economy.
And you have no idea how tired I am of real estate and bitcoin "entrepreneurs". I just want it to fucking end already. One of the biggest joys in my life is participating in price discovery. I want it back.

A major depression could occur next week, or we might see printing accelerate even further. Currency could be worth 4/5 of its value next year. Any of these things could happen and I wouldn't even be surprised. That tells a lot about the state of the economy in my opinion.

Seems like a viable possibility. The shift to commodities will be pretty big as investors seek something relatively safe. Depends on what you want to have. Do you feel like you need a small gold coin? Gold is a very safe investment. Or do you feel like silver might boom hard? Silver is a little bit more speculative than gold but will be a safe haven too if (or when) a big run for precious metals ends up happening. In the end though, either should be considered a nest egg so to speak, something you wouldn't want to sell the instant you get some gains. They'll be there for you if a hyper-inflation scenario ends up happening, basically.

Personally, I'd like to recommend gold but do note that at such small capital you'll only be able to buy a small gold coin. Now that's not a bad thing by itself, it's just that you have to pay a hefty premium fee for a smaller coin because of jewery. So if you want to have a good "bang for you buck" in the way that a big part of your money doesn't go to the seller's pocket instead of the metal itself, you should buy 1oz silver coins or bars. With silver there's also the added bonus of being able to stack them if you like that sort of thing. Do note that some places have a VAT on silver tough.

No matter whichever you want to buy though, get .999 purity bullion imho.

With the duration of stocks (by that I mean broad market indexes) we cannot see a slow grind in confidence. The incentive to jump out is too strong. Except for the dot com bubble, stocks have never been this expense except for a couple months in '29. And during the dot com bubble, you have to figure that investors saw how high long term rates were and figured how much the fed could cushion the fall. It will be bull city, a slight pull back, a slight rise to just below all time high. We'll sit there for a month or so and then every day futures will start limiting down (assuming we don't go full MMT and Powell doesn't start self dealing in gov bond issuance) every single day. Powell won't do that imo and I don't think that this can last long enough for powell's term to exprire and for dems to take the senate in order to install an MMT fed chair (Jan 2023 would be the earliest possibility).

Not a bad idea at all provided you know what you're doing of course. Same applies for any collectibles too. Gold and silver are essentially just easy mode version of collectibles if you think about it that way, no need to have the expertise of understanding the value. Buying physical assets is smart if you know what you're doing, George Gammon (youtube) for example has talked about buying post-2000 good condition pickup trucks and flipping those, and chycho (youtube) has talked about investing in comic books for example

Definitely, get physical assets anon. If it's inflation, anything but cash should do well. And if it's hyper-inflation, physical, tangible assets are the place to be. If you're putting a lot of money into Silver and don't care about divisibility buy large bars and bullion coins and rounds, if you care more about divisibility or simply can't afford as much go more into Junk Silver if you can find it (80% 50 cent pieces as well as predecimal coins) and still get some bullion bars/coins, but not as many.
For Gold buy the most recognizeable coins that come at a low premium, such as Krugs and Sovereigns.

No joke, just buy a ton of GOLD stock. Seriously, it is a good buy. DCA however much money you want to invest into it over the next few months. There is a chance for PMs to skyrocket at any moment, but the safest bet is probably to wait for the US government to start turning on the money hose again. Hell, just DCA for a year or two even.

The benefit of this plan is twofold: Barrick is a good company and the stock ticket spells "gold" so you can smile when you see it in your IRA.

It's no surprise, they can smell the IRS and FBI coming for their ass. They've been warned long enough you can't larp as the digital FED free from consequences for ever. Lately there have been a lot of talks about auditing tether and forbidding all stablecoins on an international level.
Tether higher ups will soon have their arse in jail, so now they pumped their scam back to the top, its the perfect moment for them to reduce their illegal leveraging while partially cashing out (at least their personal wallets) and hiding a chunk of real USD in the bahamas. Once they come out of jail in few years, they will enjoy the fruits of their hard (((labor))).

>>24813350
>but do they actually own over half of all silver?
In investible form? Maybe not 50%, but by far the biggest stack ever in mankind history, at least, they used to back in march. Then when the comex deliveries started because of the fear on markets and everything-crash of march, they had to liquidate their physical position to meet delivery contracts. In 3 delivery months they depleted over 75% of their known stack, from 380M oz down to >100.
A stack acquired in 10 years, sold on the cheap, just to keep the comex alive and not start a silver mania due to a physical shortage. I'd say they must be pretty butthurt, but in reality i believe it's their lil buddies, or even themselves via shell companies, who cashed out physical on a cheap, allowing a part of their stock to go out of the book.

Of course it was in part legit demand to mint investible bullion to meet the demand the LCS faced, but not in such quantities early on, back when it was at the lowest point. I believe it was (((them))) preparing their elite bunker stack.

We may be triple bottoming in MMG right now within a flag. Great entry right now, and Jeff Clark just bought his last traunche of the stock. I think we breakout and do an upwards consolidation style move like ABRA or breakout and crab sideways until silver finally breaks out. Silver can take its time though, I can wait. This is a great stock for jurisdictional diversification.

>>24816350
You'd definitely be Fomoing, however high Uranium stocks go these next weeks, during the pullback they'll probably touch or go under current prices. Just be patient and know the macro case, then buy the dip.

Auryn had a merger with Eastmain to form Fury Gold, and spun out their south american projects into two companies Sombrero resources with a great copper gold project and tier 1 metals with a silver gold project. I think Eastmain shareholders were bagholding Eastmain for a while so they sold as soon as the merger happened. However it's a great price to pick up Fury now who're launching a massive drill program at Eastmain, and as well hold Homestake Ridge in the Golden Triangle and Committee bay in Nunavut. Management is probably among the best. Ivan Babek, Mike Timmins from Agnico. I mean come on his name is literally Timmins lol

>>24816488
AUN has a funny ass chart. It refuses to be smashed down. There's a lot of buying into any dips. That production re-rate has started. Overall I'm still getting a funny feeling we get one last smash down this month, like a backtest to the 1650's or $19 mark before we break out. Who knows though. Theres a good argument that miners have bottomed, and looking at charts like AUN or ABRA, DEF, PGM, it's hard to disagree. Only thing that has me questioning is that the majors are H and S'ing.

What do you think of Vale?

>> No.24818359

>>24818256
VALE is a solid catch all miner. Few things to consider:
1. Everything VALE mines is mostly industrial and thus sensitive to the overall trajectory of the economy. Prepare your stomach for serious dips which you will feel moreso with options unless you are doing deep ITM calls.
2. A possible advantage from the above is that nearly every economy in the world tries to get things going with large public works/infrastructure projects. VALE is a major supplier to much of the world which is better IMO to CLF because American politics LOVES to talk about such projects at the start of every presidency but then never do any follow up.
3. Covid related lockdowns shut down some of their properties before and could do it agai. Vaccines and the like will likely reach South America much later than the US and EU.

Thank you for your input!
I agree with your points - I think the global economy will recover (and infrastructure will be the way governments try to kickstart it!)

Might as well just buy physical or go all in on a single penny position like Klondike or BHS. As for me :
>Impact Silver - Mexico - 122 MC silver/lead/zinc/copper/gold
>Dolly Varden - Canada - 87 MC gold/silver/copper
-----
>Canada silver cobalt - Canada - 61 MC silver/cobalt/nickel/gold/copper
-----
>Vangold - Mexico - 24 MC gold/silver
>Klondike - Canada - 24 MC - silver/lead/zinc
-----
>Lightbridge Corp - USA - 20 MC - uranium reactor
-----
>Purepoint Uranium - Canada - 18 MC - uranium
>CanAlaska Uranium - Canada - 27 MC - uranium

Biggest position in ipt and vgld, medium dv and ccw, small in ks (isnt in yet, will invest into it around May, its a sacrified position unfortunately for plenty of reasons). Uranium side, small position in ptu and ccvuf (was a bit hesitant about this one, but chart looks good and rick rule invested into it so I'll just go blind on this one), big position in ltbr which is my true bet for this sector.

Started educating myself and came to the conclusion that this shit really has to go. The whole world monetary system is a giant ponzi based on infinite growth and ever increasing debt which will implode at some point inevitably and the only way to protect oneself and maintain/increase purchasing power is to stack shiny rocks. Everything else will more or less implode with the debt driven system. No fiat has ever survived and this time wont be different. We are living the end game.

Nice yukari anon.
Bois, I found a way to figure out the eurodollar system in a way we can understand. This understanding comes from this episode https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fRyG1WUZDVc..
Think about it like memes, and how they are spread to the end user. We have primary dealer banks which is the main websites of 4chan, reddit, ifunny, and ect where you have brokers who deal in meme transactions buying and selling their wears to others. This then allow those brokers of memes to send it to other primary clearing houses like discord, tumbler, and ect where they sell their wears to them. The key as to why it relates is that the brokers can create more copies, and change it which can transform it to other memes like rick roll and ect. This in turn can create a simplified view of the system to see where are the key indicators to look for when we are not participating in it. (Aka, it is like using x ray vision vs thermal and regular vision. You lose some important details like facial movement, but you can see the core idea working). By doing this type of view, we can see use what we already know are the key indicators for the repo market like TED spreads, bond yields, and all to get a cohesive view on the material.

TLDR, MFW 4chan was the best example of the shadow banking system via delivering hot memes to the masses in a cashless way before it was thought about.

So I'm just getting into buying silver bullion. But I'm a legit novice retard with absolutely zero experience regarding precious metals. Long term I also hope to get into gold after I have a few thousand in silver.

I've ranked my priority for buying as follows

>1st: 1oz Silver Eagles (about 25% of my purchases for obvious high demand)
>2nd: 1oz Canadian Silver Maples (20% since they're closer to spot; however less sought after)
>3rd: 2oz-5oz Silver bars (also 20%; I'm already going to have enough smaller denominations via the aforementioned coins; holding mostly for prospective spot value increase primarily as a simple hedge against inflation. Really any bar is fine; buffalo is just cheap and i thought it looked cool)
>4th: British coins and Mexican Libertads (15% purely for diversification)
>5th: 10% commemorative coins and junk that may increase in value due to it's aesthetic rarity
>6th: 5% Goldbacks (easy way to get into gold; plus I think they're just an interesting concept; considering getting some Swiss fractional gold too but they premiums are absurd on some of them)

The remaining 5% will just be discretionary and I can toss it at whatever I want. Maybe just save it to buy fractional gold.

Should I be throwing silver Krugerrands in there? When buying I frequently am finding them as the coin closest to spot consistently but apparently they don't sell back over spot at all? Also thinking about adding Australian stuff into the mix. What do? Am I completely fucking retarded?

You are overcomplicating things. Silber is silber and 1 toz is always 1toz. It is true that you might be able to sell some coins above the spot price but generally that is not to be expected. You don't need to "diversify" your bullion purchases in terms of which coin you buy. Stacking silver is not like selecting stocks. Generally just buy what you can get for the smallest premium.

>Goldbacks
Not worth their price in gold but fun collectibles I suppose. Not really a great investment imho

Also no need to buy so many different coins unless you really just want to have a collection with different kinds of coins

>> No.24821492

>>24821389
Relax, there's no need to be so autistic about what form your stack is in, remember one of the great things about PMs is that they're totally fungible... silver is silver. Any recognised minted coins are ideal, be it eagles, maples, kugerrands, Britannias, etc. Literally just get what's available and cheapest. Bars are good for big stack gains but you don't want them majority until you get to hundreds of ounces. Don't overlook junk either, there can be good deals. Just be careful with junk... it's a gateway drug into numismatic shit which is a whole other rabbit hole

Buy from one party and sell to another down the supply chain. Business can get 30 pigs from farmer and turn around to sell them next day if there’s a buyer. Most business do not use futures as price reference but largest ones do. The physical delivery is still an option. Very large companies use as speculation like a shell game.
>company A says they will produce X tonnes of silver in December.
>company A contracts for “X tonnes” to company B
>company B sells “X tonnes” to company C through comex
>company A folds (raw material price increase, tax increase, export ban, etc.)
>company B still in obligation to company C
>company B now in default and needs to find “X tonnes” of silver at current prices from another supplier or pay restitution.
Usually defaults are well known events so no guarantee company B can cover at same price as initial contract.

Here's my advice. Liquidity and simplicity is what matters. If you live in North America here's what I'd get:
1. American/Canadian bullion coins
2. junk silver US/Canada dollars
3. (Optional for later) Royal Canadian Mint bullion bars or highly popular private mint bars like Scottsdale or Asahi

That's it. That's the most practical, modest way of stacking imo and you'll obviously deviate here and there as time goes on which of course is fine. Everyone likes ASEs & Maples. Everyone likes Morgan dollars. Private buyers or a LCS will give you spot for RCM bars & near it for Scottsdale/Asahi bars. Why store 500 merc dimes when you can store 50 Morgan or Canada dollars?

Commodities have supercycles. Uranium is losing supply, a lot of it permanently, over the past few years as a result of low prices spurred by Japan's Fukushima reserves (finite) and Kazahastan's large mines.
Nuclear power plants need uranium. There are no substitutes and there is no real paper derivative presence (like Silver and Gold have), This doesn't depend on the fate of nuclear. The plants as is will require this draw. If countries start adopting nuclear into the "green" fold, all the more so.
And economy won't matter either. People will still pay to keep the lights on. That is why utilities are "recession recovery" plays. Because they have captive consumer bases.
