I wouldn't be so sure. If you are reacting against advertising it means it has at least affected you to the extent that it has framed your mind. You are X because your are not Y etc.

first of all I don't see how driving someone away from consumerism would rake in profits for any other sector and second of all I haven't seen an ad in years because I'm not computer illiterate and value my time enough to fuck them out of my life.
they literally get filtered out like white noise if I do see one.
if it's something like a product placement or other shitfest subconscious stuff I can recognize it and it only drives me further away.
Sponsorblock and ublock are a must for anyone with more than 3 braincells

Yes it does, read The Last Psychiatrist. The only winning move is to cut it out of your life ruthlessly.

same. i get angry and shut down whenever i see or hear an advertisement, because i realize some hook nosed kike is behind it all.

>> No.24773750

It has negative effect on me. If i see some product constantly being advertised and shoved into my face I will avoid buying it. Also you know it's shit otherwise they wouldn't shill it so hard.

Every now and then I have to do something on someone else's computer or phone and I'm always blown away by how many adverts there are everywhere.
Some people even put up with ads interrupting YouTube videos. How can you stand this?
The only ads I ever see in my day-to-day life are billboards IRL, and even then I barely notice them.
>>24773809
The cheapest one, does anyone really have any other answer? I sincerely can't imagine being influenced to buy one product over another by an unsolicited ad. Not saying that there's not some kind of subconscious effect, but I genuinely can't think of a single time I've bought a basic good that wasn't just the cheapest option.

yeah, this go too annoying for me and now I watch youtube in brave browser

>> No.24774097

Same I truly don’t understand the purpose of e.g. youtube ads. When I get interrupted by an ad I will never ever purchase that product even if I had a gun to my head. I also have never bought something because of an ad ever in my life, except for when I was a kid because obviously kids are easier to influence.

Kek if I see an advert that annoys me or wastes my time, I make a promise to myself that I will NEVER buy that product, and will use a competitor product instead if its something essential. If its particularly annoying or promotes globohomo shit like race mixing or trannies then I boycott the entire companies product range

I have childish, vicious reactions against advertisements. I really cannot stand them. The exceptions are ads that are purely informational/factual and Brave ads because they are small and they are paying me to view them.
