Liberals (i.e. vast majority of people on Reddit) have a harder time admitting they're wrong than conservatives

Example:
A far larger % of liberals support socialism/communism than the % of conservatives that support fascism/Nazism, despite the socialism/communism having killed far more people than fascism/Nazism
That is because conservatives look back and see that fascism/Nazism have been tried and failed.
However, liberals think "real" socialism/communism has never been tried, and it is now once again a mainstream ideology, despite the tens of millions of deaths caused by it during the 20th century.

I would imagine the users of r/buttcoin are people that knew about and maybe even held bitcoin sub $1000 USD however they either never bought or sold early and watched the price go up massively. In order to cope with missing out on financial freedom they fud bitcoin in their sad little echo chamber hoping for the price to go down.
