also the fact that the biggest marketplace changed their crypto from bitcoin to xmr.

Well we just ramped up this week, so on what moving average are we looking? We peaked at nearly 28k and our lows are in the mid teens, so I'll just say 20k.
I''ll say 45k. Dark net adoption will continue snowballing.

Most pre 2019 charts are not worth on emission terms because bitcoin hashrate fluctuation due to asics moved also the price of other coins which also adjusted difficulty.

So we are ahead or behind depending on the coins since the emission every few x is not respected so much due to difficulty changes caused by price changes allowing more hashpower or less.

I stand corrected i used mined daily divided by block it seems that due to price rice hashrate increased and they have been mining more blocks per day until the difficulty adjust.

my address in case you wanna reward me for being the only one who properly answered the second question because I took the different blockrewards from 18.132m+ xmr on into account.

Everyone who says blockreward is around 1 is wrong btw,

>> No.24760018

I'm kinda stupid but aren't the rewards going to always be above 0.6 XMR because of the tail emission?

>> No.24760074

>>24759717
I did (2^64-1)-total monero right now * 10^12
the whole thing divided by 2^19 and then again by 10^12. This is a formula only XMR chads know. ((M-A)/2^19)/10^12 M=2^64 -1
and A is total monero supply times 10^12.
Then for the second question same formula with higher supply BUT you only apply that formula until 18.132 million XMR for the other blocks the reward is different.

>> No.24760096

>>24760018
as soon as it goes below 0.6, the value 0.6 gets "frozen" and 0.6 will remain the block reward for EVER.

>> No.24760129

>>24760096

yea but it's continuous it happens with every block and not discretely every 4 years like with btc.

I mistook daily minted xmr with block reward for a sec and got things mixed up. Anyways in 6 months we would be 100% above 18.132m which means reward below 0.6 which means reward remains 0.6.

It looks like it's a few days off since the reward for Dec 12, 2020 is listed as 1.2476. Six months from now, it will be around 0.9715.
