The borrower has to put down a collateral that covers more than the entire loan so it's more of a temporary swap really. Say you have a stack of LINK you don't want to sell but there is a great opportunity to buy a private sale of an upcoming token. You can put your stack down as collateral, get eth and participate and afterward sell enough of your new stack to get the eth to pay off your loan.
