TSLA is stock i've watched a lot over the last year. Ive played it a lot during "runs" and it behaves the same way almost every time. what i do is buy calls when it's already up 2-3% on a day without any major dips. I'll let it ride for maybe a percent, sell a call a strike above to lock gains if it starts to cool, if it continues the run buy another call and repeat. sell enough calls to cover the ones i bought by 3 pm est cause it usually dips at that point then close all legs next day (or just close a sell leg or two and ride for run up if it dips at open).
