No you couldn't because even with a working prototype, reverse engineering it would cost a lot of TIME. Every first-world government would easily catch wind of you importing world-renowned scientists and dozens of Ph.D students, and one of them would roll in with the special forces, seize EVERYTHING, and probably kill you in your sleep before you knew what was happening.

And even if by the grace of god you flew away before they could blow your brains out, they would shoot you out of the sky rather than let you live on Earth with that technology if they couldn't have it.

The only path to success would be to wage war on the entire planet until you had destroyed every single country's ability to shoot you down, which would require ruining every economy in every country with a Defense industry.
