I put in about 30 apps/week with a B.S. and being a veteran applying exclusively for govt jobs on usajobs. I have yet to receive a call for an interview. I just started this year during covid, but finding a job I enjoy would be an exponential impossibility in the face of the difficulty of even finding a job at all. No employment breaks other than school. Do I really have to stop selecting 'white male' on my applications, given they are mainly entry level?

I never understood the neet worship this board does. There's no reason you shouldn't be trying to make as much money as possible while you can, and for most of us that means career advancements while we gamble shitcoins on the side. more money you make, more money you have to invest. pitiful mcWage cucks with .1btc aren't gonna make it no matter what how hard this shit moons

The job market is in shambles right now, unemployment has spiked to record highs. If you have any kind of stable paper pushing job you're lucky.
If you're like me, no office job will make you happy. Whether you're an accountant, an engineer, a doctor, chemist, detective, etc. They all suck, I've talked to people in all kinds of professions and they all complain about burnout and how mundane their job actually is. This is just the reality of adult life, work is boring. So no, switching jobs probably won't help with the fatigue, unless you're an autist and have become obsessed with a certain position.
The reality is this, the only way most people will find true relief is by escaping wage slavery. Otherwise, you will always have the pressure and stress associated with relying on your job to pay the bills. There's only one way to escape that feeling, and that's by making it.

I work in oil industry for a smaller family company and train new employees how to do my work while I run projects. It’s honestly fun and I get paid a lot to chill and drive around in a new f350. I get quarterly bonuses and crypto/stock gains about every quarter that I pull for extra fuck around money. I legitimately enjoy my job because I’m really good at it, and spend a lot of time at home, with just enough travel to not get sick of it.
