Zoracles’s mission is to solve the oracle problem by providing private/confidential DeFi data to smart contracts.

API3 uses ZKPs and privacy?

>Unfortunately [existing solutions] do not offer privacy guarantees to secure the flow of information from data sources.
>The foundation of any reputable oracle network is its data ... Zoracles proposes using a VRF ... to randomize the API endpoints to significantly enhance the security against price manipulation ...
Yet another project that API3 makes useless by getting API providers themselves to operate oracles and doing away with middlemen. You only need all this privacy moonmath if you're using third-aprty oracles you don't trust.

kek. you have absolutely no idea what you're even talking about anon. we're talking about private data....which isn't possible without zkSnarks. absolutely everything is publically visible on teh ether network otherwise. so if you are pulling in sensitive data, via API3...this is not shielded in any way.

its amazing to me that biz isn't balls deep in zora desu. it's an incredibly ambitious project that checks all the right boxes. it's going to have an incredible run this year and biz is going to miss out because of retards like the guy above who thinks...

The whitepaper doesn't talk about strictly private data.
>Various oracle solutions have been deployed to facilitate connections between exchange data and smart contracts.
Price data isn't "private" data.

What is this about confidential credit checks?

That's a fine application of zoracles. My previous comments were referring to the fact that it's unnecessary in a lot of more standard use cases.
