A small team has vision and clarity and focus. A lot of companies get fucked by expanding too much too soon. Shit gets watered down, its hard to ensure everyone “gets” what you are trying to achieve and this is even more so in the avenue of Chainlink.
You get roasties and cucks come in and change the culture, or just to leech and fuck off after compromising or slowing down the goal.

Do you trust Sergey? I hope he knows what i just explained. This is my biggest worry with Link as a long term holder for years now. They are taking much longer than anticipated to release Tsigs, reputation, Deco, and everything else.

And although there is ABSOLUTELY NO COMPETITION right now and we all know that, how long till the market gives up waiting? Or how long till something shit like Corda just beats them to market due ONLY TO INERTIA.

Realistically we know there is no competition but this is my biggest worry, that tue inertia from taking so long to get Tsigs, reputation, deco and abritrum out will cost them not in terms of a decentralised competitor but simple inertia to a centralised one

The reason expansion is such a problem for startups is that the founders are usually devs and don't understand business or leadership. It's how Jobs got outmaneuvered and fired from his own company. However he actually took the time to learn how to lead and then came back and got back on top, so it worked out for him.

The best case scenario is what happened with Google. They got that professional businessman to come in but he treated the two founders right and now they're all very happy and rich, even if their company did turn evil in the end.

Moving to Japan recently taught me this in real time. I already knew the pitfalls but only in theory.
This country epitomises inefficiency. Large groups of people making decisions together so slowly that nothings gets done. So many workers and lines of communication that everything happens slower rather than faster. A 30 man team can unironically move faster than a 300 one if not managed right.
Im just glad i wont subject myself to working in a Japanese company with that shit.

Rumor has it Chainlink cannot afford to write the code because the key developers are white and expensive so they outsourced their development and production costs to China and only pay Steve and Thomas and Sergey for public appearances.
Adelyn's uncle runs a human trafficking ring with the CCP. He and his team abduct teens from internet cafes after they have been monitored by Chinese Internal Intelligence Services. These teens are then forced to solve Sergey's oracle problem at gunpoint.

why do you link circle jerkers completely ignore the usability, scalability and popularity of xrp?

I mean, seriously, the team is focused on usability and implementation of ripple

One major issue, just off the door, that ripple is trying to solve is end correspondence banking. This is huge, it's a huge cost in compliance that gets cut, and the need of nostro accounts is over also.

This means banks no longer needs to keep accounts in other banks with money in them and can put this money to other investments or loans.

XRP is also compatible with smart contracts, but it has an immense scale of usability as it was meant to power all sorts of trades, including gold and silver.

Just a small frigging test on the network on November caused XRP to spike 3x, and that's just a fucking test. Institutional people are shaking others, they're involved and they know this is big.

Link will probably be very niche, I wouldn't bet on it, if I had any cash from when it was pennies, I would have sold at $16.

The good news for us is that even if everything fails because of this we will still make it because of the remaining velocity and reputation of the project.
Take a look at ADA and see how you can be rich from a vaporware.
If Sergey fails it will only reduce our very long term goals but won't have any effect in the next 2-3 years.
He will learn from a few mistakes but it won't damage his project too much as long as he can keep his best talents working for him.
The key is to give enough freedom to the stars in his company and the older workers and to not force a management and work condition change on them with extra administrative overhead.

Don't you have difficulties to adapt to the local customs and culture? It seems like their culture is the opposite of our western one and puts group cohesion above the individual happiness. Ironically those who can't adapt to it and seem the most similar to us are more likely to be NEETs.

To be honest you will always feel different here and its no surprise. You are a foreigner. Im from the UK so im used to foreigners but i think here in Japan i really feel like an alien sometimes. What im saying is you wont ever feel completely normal here because the locals wont let you. But speaking good Japanese goes a very long way on that.

It was fine when i used to visit, but as soon as i moved here i felt it hard. Yes, the consensus shit is everywhere and even when i talk english to some women or guys you can see it. But ofc, just be an individual because you are a foreigner so do what you like imo, just be respectful and try put the rubbish in the right bin etc lol.
If you live here you’ll probably find yourself wanting to go home at least once a year for a reset.
Adaptation to local customs is easy if you speak good Japanese. If you dont you feel it a lot more. Cant stress it enough.

Im not 100% on tax as i cashed out in UK but i think its taxed as income with a few exceptions like for stocks and crypto.

Advice would be to come here for 180 days visa free before you come longer. Its hard on your own. I was so lucky to have a woman help me get apartment phone number etc at first otherwise it would have been stressful settling in on long visa like i did. The initial 180 days would be what i’d have done if i could go back. But overall once you settle it can be great here. U kinda get ur own bubble and can pick and choose to properly take part or not as a foreigner.
I’ve heard Korea is a bit less harsh than Japan for foreigners tho so its worth checking it out. Sadly i havent been yet.
