I have not moved my trendlines since my last Strikepoint post. Strikepoint backtested the breakout line today and bounced off of it closing in the breakout zone. We are down 4.5% today but this is insanely bullish that we had a chance to break under but the buyers refused. It's gonna be another "I told you so" stock.

As for why its banned, long story short a company fucked up badly down in the Kootany region back in the 1980s attempting to mine / explore for uranium and accidentally released massive amounts of radon gas into a nearby community. cancer rates spiked and contamination was traced to the diamond drilling activity. People panicked and told their MLA's to ban the exploration of uranium in the province and it was rubber stamped only weeks after the accident. You can still have uranium claims but good luck exploring them.

Closer to surface is more economic to mine although if the property has an old mine it might not be as expensive to mine
a deposit deeper underground. It's also less about the grade itself and more about the intersection. You should count gram-meters with drill core assays by multiplying the grade (grams per ton) by the distance of the drill core assay. In this case it would be 3m * 647gpt Ag = 1,941 gram-meters of silver in that assay

Yes but consider that this is just a small intersection of a drill hole. Why do we drill holes to the ground? It's to scope out the ground and to define the mineralization. The point of drilling is to come to an understanding of how large a deposit is, what shape it has, how much ore there is and of what average grade. A 3m intersection with an average grade of >600gpt Ag is good! That's >6gpt AuEq! Now imagine how many tonnes of ore like that they find, imagine what kind of deposit this vein forms

It's tricky with Uranium. I bought UUUU and my other U stocks at the previous breakout thinking this is it. Then it was dead money for 4 or 5 months whilst all my gold and silver stocks soared, and I couldn't help but wish I bought gold and silver stocks instead. But now that gold and silver stocks pulled back, Uranium broke out again and they're some of my bigger winners now. yes thats the plan i think, Hecla buys into these sorts of projects for future reserves. They hold a lot of the territory east of Dolly Varden and Homestake, covering several abandoned small scale mines from the 30s and 40s. They also hold the Esperanza mine site which was a fantastic small scale operation right outside downtown Alice Arm. Much of their ground is purely speculative though and like the other companies in the area has only recently been explored with modern tech.
