Doing it for Amazon is a waste. You don’t get nearly as good of a salary and basically zero benefits. Also you have to carry heavy ass packages.

Don’t even think about working for Amazon. Get a computer science degree or something. Although I’m tired of staring at screens.

At first, but usually it works in a hierarchy system. New workers get heavy routes. By the end of it all you really just deliver to a small number of houses as with seniority you get the best routes. You just have to stick with it and not fuck up too bad and you make it.

Not very many jobs with that level of security around.

I worked for UPS in college loading the trucks. A lot of guys who had their own businesses would work part time for the health insurance. A lot of loaders are shitty people. They come into work and you can still smell the alcohol on them, but a lot of the drivers have a diva attitude with a better than everyone else complex. They predetermine how many packages are going on that truck and there's nothing you can do but cram it in there. I've had recliners, those toy cars kids drive around, kayaks and all sorts of shit. They never want to turn the loading belt off either. I was stuck waist deep unable to move in boxes more than once.
