When I feel inclined to try a new exchange, I test every aspect of it. I transfer a small amount of fiat, buy some eth, transfer that eth to a wallet, transfer the eth back to the exchange, sell the eth, then withdraw the fiat. That way I know everything will run smoothly without problems.
